Temi played some of the best basketball that I've seen out of him across a number of games on Sunday. The 6'4 power-wing was getting to the rim at will, and when he was able to get two feet into the paint he couldn't be stopped. He did a nice job of utilizing a jab-step to get his defender leaning one way before attacking in the opposite direction. Once inside he played off two feet, and despite being a right handed player he may have been even better finishing his left hand. Timmy had no problem powering his way to the basket to finish with his right, but when defenders overcommitted he showed a quick spin move to get to his left and finish on the opposite of size. With his combination of strength and quick bounce off the floor, opposing wings have a tough time containing him around the rim. Throughout the day I thought Omotoyinbo did a nice job of not settling for jumpers, and instead working for high percentage looks which allowed him to score with efficiency.

Deron is a D1 offered football player, but also looks the part of a college prospect on the hardwood. His change of speed allowed him to create space for himself on the ball, where he showcased a smooth pull-up jumper. Gets great elevation on his shot meaning he only needs a bit of space to pull-up and connect. With a lot of talent around him, Deron did a nice job of not forcing his game, and taking what the defense gave him. Showed more explosiveness around the basket than I knew he had as well. Deron is continuing his strong run of play after an impressive 16u season.

Miles looks determine to make sure Breck doesn't drop off at all after last season's state title. On Sunday he was playing like one of the best seniors in the state, showcasing impressive explosiveness, a smooth outside shot, and improved playmaking ability. He started off high school as a shooter with some size on the wing, last year he looked to have added an extra level of athleticism, and now heading into his senior year looks a lot better creating off the dribble. Play him too tight and he has the quick first step to attack the basket, but sag off and he was able to get into his mid-range jumper. Changes directions off the dribble with a level of quickness that not many 6'5 guys can, and when he got downhill he was able to elevate for a handful of highlight reel dunks.

Marley continued his monster summer with an MVP performance in the All Star Game of the camp. The sharpshooting wing/forward went off for 37 points, mixing in some deep threes with a handful of two handed slams inside. Over the past few months he's been playing with a ton of confidence, taking and making a handful of threes just about every game I watch him, and doing so from well beyond the high school arc. Opened up some easy looks with his off-ball movement, and showed the burst to elevate off of two feet and dunk just about everything inside. One of the state's biggest stock risers over the past 4-5 months.

Tyler looks to be an improved shooter with a bit more confidence in his jumper heading into his sophomore season. Played with that same change of pace that makes him very dangerous coming off of screens, able to get his man on his hip and then get downhill towards the basket. Seems to just float with the ball at times before exploding to the rim. Throughout the day he hit a handful of pull-up jumpers, stopping on a dime and getting good elevation to score over an outstretched hand. Also hustled back in transition for an impressive block on a 6'5 wing going up to dunk.

Carter put together some really nice stretches of play on Sunday afternoon. He shot the ball better than I knew he could, connecting on 4 or 5 threes in the final game of the day. Was also converting his chances around the basket at a higher percentage than usual. Even when he isn't scoring the ball, Steinbeck is someone who contributes with his rebounding and hustle on the defensive end. He's one of the hardest working bigs you'll find who never seems to take a play off. Really like how vocal he is on the defensive end as well.

It may not always be in the flashiest ways, but Ty simply goes out and produces in any setting. He has the shooting stroke from three that forces you to guard him tight beyond the arc, but he can also put the ball on the floor and work his way to the rim at 6'5. Despite what he can do off the dribble, he was perhaps his most effective playing a scrappy brand of basketball, fighting for offensive rebounds leading to easy put-backs. He just knows where to be at the right times, and it allowed him to produce with efficiency.
