<p>Rodgers is a quarterback on the football field and a lead guard on the hardwood for Hertford County High to get to know. His ability to rebound the basketball and create offense is an asset for the Bears as they've leaned heavily on him over the past few seasons. He checks in at 10th in top returning rebounders in the NCHSAA 2A ranks after recording 8.6 rebounds per contest in 2023-24. He racked up seven double-doubles and returns looking to do more to lead the Bears in the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal Conference.</p>

<p>Oldham is a big man to know in the NCHSAA 2A ranks with Jordan-Matthews High. He made quite the splash in his debut season as a member of the 2025 class as he averaged 8.7 rebounds per game and recorded nine double-doubles. He's becoming quite the presence in the painted area after swatting 2.0 blocks per game as a junior. He's due to become a coveted unsigned senior for DIII/JUCO programs to know.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">T-8) [player_tooltip player_id='2093887' first='Landon' last='Vaughan'] | 6'9 Center/Forward | Bandys High</h3>

<p>Vaughan is a sizeable name to know in the NCHSAA 2A ranks out of Bandys High. He makes his return in a tie for eighth-place after recording 9.1 rebounds per game for the Trojans. He's shown he can hold his own and then some in the painted area after recording 12 double-doubles along with a 3.6 blocks per game average by season's end. He's a prospect for DII and DIII programs to get eyes on in the region.</p>

<p>It's always a good thing when a guard can sneak onto the rebounding list. In this case, [player_tooltip player_id='2516817' first='Hayes' last='Lewis'] is a talented prospect to get to know on the NCHSAA 2A stage with Franklin Academy. He makes his return in a tie for eighth in rebounds per game after racking up 9.1 rebounds per contest as a sophomore. He's set to make a lot more noise heading into his junior season after finishing with 10 double-doubles and an impressive stat all-around line. </p>

<p>Goldston is the last of the returning prospects in a tie for eighth in rebounds after he pulled in 9.1 rebounds per game in 2023-24. He's another prospect who isn't necessarily a big man prospect but he's shown he can do more than score the basketball to impact the game. He finished his junior season with 10 double-doubles and showed he could do more than hold his own protecting the rim as well with 2.3 blocks per game.</p>

<p>Billings makes his debut on the PH platform out of Fairmont High. He reeled in 10.2 rebounds per contest this past season including 4.2 offensive rebounds per game to showcase his abilities on the glass. He registered three double-doubles and looks to put together a whole lot more in his senior year. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4) Cameron Cartlidge | 6'1 Guard | Walkertown High</h3>

<p>Cartlidge is an emerging name to know in the 2026 class in North Carolina out of Walkertown High. He's a 6-foot-1 guard who's shown he can rebound in bunches after racking up 10.6 rebounds per contest as a sophomore. He showed he can be a presence by reeling in seven double-doubles this past year. He's got a bright future ahead of him in the 2A ranks.</p>

<p>Lyerly is a big man who continues to climb up the PH radar with Lincolnton High. He pulled in 11.7 rebounds per contest while showcasing his ability to be a paint presence and bruiser around the rim. He's a prospect on both the football field and hardwood to keep an eye on for the Wolves. </p>

<p>Henderson is an unsigned senior name to add to the PH radar out of Heide Trask High. He's shown he can average quite the load on the rebounding front as he checks in at second in top returning rebounders after averaging 11.8 rebounds per game in 2023-24. He's a DIII/JUCO prospect in the making to get eyes on this high school season.</p>

<p>Misher is a prospect to get to know with Maiden High. He returns at the top-returning rebounder with 14.4 rebounds per game. He put up 16 double-doubles across 22 games for the Blue Devils this past season and showed off his versatility in the rotation. He's a prospect to get to know in the Catawba Valley Conference.</p>
