About Hayes
Expert Analysis
Ira Becks | Prep Hoops Scout
Hayes led his team with 17.3 PPG and played consistently throughout the weekend. Knocked down the three-ball with consistency and was very effective creating shots off the dribble. Showed confidence in his pull-up three-point shot and kept defenders on their heels with his ability to score from the perimeter. Displays a very high basketball IQ and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands.

for the last couple of seasons so to no surprise that he’s his team’s leading scorer (19.8 ppg) for Franklin Academy and has his team sitting as the number 3 seed. Lewis plays with a grit and toughness that’s contagious to the energy and effort that his Franklin Academy teammates play with, he’s a catch and shoot threat out to well beyond the three-point line and doesn’t mind mixing it up in the middle. Lewis has some D3 offers with a big showing in the playoffs I expect more colleges to come calling.

One of the more consistent guys I’ve seen this summer stayed on track over the weekend averaging a 6th in division best 17.7 points per game. He shoots the ball well from all three levels and does a solid job of using his frame to draw fouls when he gets into the painted area. A 2026 prospect to track the remainder of this summer.

Consistent shooting with a solid handle and a strong frame makes him an interesting unsigned senior prospect going into the first live period. With Team Inge he’s asked to show more skill as a playmaker and in his first showing of the summer, he did a good job of picking his spots while controlling the tempo of the offense.

Lewis is a prospect who’s slowly working his way off the Watch List in the 2026 class out of Franklin Academy in the 919 area. He’s hot off a top scoring performance at the Big Shots NC Tip-Off which saw him lead the 17U Slam Division in scoring with 29.7 points per game on the Team INGE roster. He poured in 37 points against WCBA Elite to close out of high-scoring weekend. He’s a 6-foot point guard who knows how to control the point of attack with his pace off the bounce. He’s a prospect for DII and DIII programs to get eyes on this grassroots cycle.
