David Barns Showcase: 5 Standouts

There was talent at all levels for coaches and scouts to see. I'm just so impressed with how his game has developed over the last 6-12 months. Yes, he's always been very talented. But he's gone from an elite SHOOTER to a top notch all around PLAYER. Not surprising though, as he always shows up to play. Johnson flaunted tremendous positional size and versatility. He can handle like a guard, but score through defenders and around the rim with the power of a post player. He wanted the ball in his hands to initiate the offense and wasn't afraid to go get a bucket. Muhl showed that he can be an explosive shooter and put points on the board in a hurry. He didn't disappoint at the David Barns Showcase. Kohler just knows how to play the game of basketball. He was one of the best passers in the gym and consistently made sure the ball moved along the perimeter. Early on, it was his ability to effect the game without having to be shot heavy. He was grinding for loose balls and playing both ends of the floor. Late in the day, Chalupa showed a nose for the ball and a knack for finding hard earned high percentage buckets around the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
