1.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1288917' first='Ben' last='Helmers'] (Algona) -- 20.7 points per game

An athletic, slashing 6-4 wing who thrives when he's using his speed, handles, and athleticism to play downhill and attack the bucket, Helmers had a big year as a scorer for the Bulldogs and should be even better as a senior. If he's able to add some consistency to his jumper this winter, watch out, because he'll be nearly impossible to slow down.

2.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1668669' first='Landen' last='Norris'] (Knoxville) -- 20.3

Norris is a long 6-4 wing who can fill it up from all three levels in bunches, posting 51-38-58 shooting splits as a junior to lead the Panthers in scoring, rebounding, and assists. He has great size, which allows him to shoot over defenders, and he has really improved as a ball-handler and shot creator over the last year.

t3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765515' first='Jaidyn' last='Coon'] (Storm Lake) -- 19.8

No player in the state had a better spring and summer than Coon did, elevating himself into a nationally ranked prospect and picking up Division I offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, and TCU. A hyper-athletic 6-7 wing who can put the ball on the floor and attack the rim, step out and knock down shots off either the dribble or the catch, and pound the offensive glass with his eye-popping athleticism, Coon is a versatile two-way player who looks primed to have a sensational junior year for the Tornadoes.

t3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978100' first='Jaxon' last='Clark'] (Keokuk) -- 19.8

A 6-8/6-9 big man who was absolutely dominant as a sophomore, Clark is a remarkably efficient scorer with soft touch, great footwork, and he's decisive on the catch, making quick moves around the rim. He also worked to extend his range last season and knocked down 37% of his 3-point attempts. The scary thing is he may just be scratching the surface of his potential. High upside forward who impacts the game on both ends of the floor in a major way.

5.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2398006' first='Sean' last='Tunks'] (Des Moines Christian) -- 19.1

Tunks transferred from Southeast Polk to DMC for his junior year and provided the Lions with a big-time perimeter scoring threat. He can knock down shots from deep, but he's at his best when he's playing downhill and looking to attack the bucket, both in transition and in the halfcourt. He's quick, has good handles, and is able to finish through contact at the rim.

6.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1759905' first='Luke' last='Frazell'] (Waverly-Shell Rock) -- 18.7

Frazell is one of the best pure shooters in the state, as evidenced by his nearly 55% from behind the arc as a junior, helping lead the Go-Hawks to a runner-up finish in 3A. He has great size at 6-6, a quick release, and a pure stroke. His shooting is his biggest asset, and he does it really well off the catch, but his ball-handling and shot creation have also come a long way in the last 18-24 months.

7.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2474854' first='Elliot' last='Carlson'] (Humboldt) -- 18.5

A talented 6-1 guard who can score from all three levels, Carlson was actually second on the Wildcats in scoring last season and will have ample opportunity to get even more shots up this season. He's really good when he's playing downhill and attacking the rim, where he's a good finisher through contact.

8.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765518' first='Jude' last='Gibson'] (Ballard) -- 17.0

Gibson is one of the most talented guards in the state, a quick, athletic guard with a great feel for the game. He's great in ball screen actions, as he can turn the corner and explode to the rim or pull up in the mid-range. He's a creative finisher at the bucket and a really good free-throw shooter who gets to the line quite a bit.

9.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1759949' first='Andrew' last='Rotzoll'] (Clear Creek Amana) -- 16.5

Rotzoll is a high-level perimeter shooting threat who buried nearly 43% of his 3-point attempts as a junior, a major contributor to his lofty scoring totals. He moves well without the ball in his hands, getting to spots where he can get his shot off, or cutting to the rim for easy layups.

10.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1484419' first='Alex' last='Manske'] (Algona) -- 16.4

Another Bulldog on this top 10, Manske is an Iowa State football commit as a quarterback. He's a really good athlete with a strong, physical frame at 6-3/6-4, which he pairs with quick footwork, deft touch around the rim, and the ability to stretch out to the 3-point line and knock down shots consistently. That type of offensive versatility allows him to be a big-time scorer at this level.
