On this talented team, Tunks isn’t asked to carry a heavy scoring burden, which allows him to showcase some of the other areas he can thrive in. For a guard, he’s really good on the glass, sticking his nose in and competing on both ends of the floor against bigger bodies for rebounds. He’s a good passer who sees the floor well, and he looks to push the tempo whenever he can, always trying to find the hit-ahead pass for an easy bucket for a teammate. He’s a solid on-ball defender who can move his feet and cause some chaos on that end of the floor. And when the opportunity presents, he’s good at attacking off the dribble going in either direction, showing good body control around the rim and the ability to finish through contact.
