Five 2027s Who Could Breakout in Class 3A This Winter

Speaking of ample opportunity being available, ADM lost their top four scorers from last year's state runner-up team and will have a ton of shots available for players like Wiebers, a solid role player off the bench on last year's team. He's a capable three-level scoring threat who can play with or without the ball in his hands, and he's a solid on-ball defender. He averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game last season and could easily be a double-figure scorer as a senior.     Clemen-Jones had a really nice junior year for the Hawks, averaging 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game on 52-41-79 shooting splits, and he could be even better as a senior. An athletic guard who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, he'll pair with standout wing [player_tooltip player_id='2828827' first='Paul' last='Beswick'] to give the Hawks one of the better one-two punches in Class 3A this winter.     North Polk was peaking at the right time last season, upsetting top-ranked Clear Lake in postseason play before falling to Gilbert in the substate final. Petersen, a 6-2 wing, is a big reason why the Comets will continue to be dangerous despite losing three of their top four scorers. A dangerous shooter with size, he buried 43% of his 3-point attempts as a junior and will be asked to do a bit more with the ball in his hands as a senior.
