This 2027 class is DEEP with talent. It's so very early in their careers and there are already 8 players in the class who hold D1 offers. With them only entering their Sophomore seasons, there is a lot of volatility in the rankings and we have had some players move way up the list in this update. Here's a breakdown of the top Centers in this week's update. This does not include and players who are in the top ten of the class.

Carlisle County's [player_tooltip player_id='2046736' first='Wyatt' last='Rickard'] is the first player I can remember from his school to earn a D1 offer and he still has plenty of time to add more in the coming years. An excellent shot blocker with an improving offensive skill set, Wyatt is only going to get better as he stops growing and adds bulk to his thin frame.

Apollo Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2122448' first='Landon' last='Henning'] is another Sophomore that is very advanced as a shot blocker. He has excellent defensive timing and is an above average finisher at the rim. Explosive off of two feet, Henning will likely bulk up in the next year or two. If he can continue to improve his overall athleticism and get more comfortable in pick and roll coverage, Landon could be an elite defender to go along with his ever improving offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2522623' first='John' last='Luk'] is a total unknown to me at this point but our Michael Roth said the West Jessamine big man needs to be in the mix alongside Rickard in the 11-20 range. Luk was ineligible at West last season but is expected to play a big role for the Colts this season and should make an immediate difference in the 12th region if he's as good as Roth says. Definitely a player to track this season.

Paintsville's [player_tooltip player_id='2122449' first='Brock' last='Woods'] is a load down low and has some polished skills around the rim. Woods also has a good jump shot and is eager to show his range when the opportunity presents itself. Brock had a limited role with his AAU team but is coming off a freshman season where he averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds per game. If Brock continues to grow and thins out a little bit, he'll be a force to reckon with.

Beechwood Sophomore Kingston Beckett is a name to monitor this season for the Tigers. He's the smallest post on this list but he plays hard and maximizes his potential that way. Beckett only averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds last season but is capable of averaging a double-double as a Sophomore if he gets the opportunity and can stay on the court, avoiding foul trouble.
