<p>With the AAU season winding down, I thought we'd take a look back to see which incoming seniors, juniors and sophomores had impactful performances in the final rounds of the 2024 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Boys Basketball Tournament. These will undoubtedly be players to watch when the winter high school season kicks off in several months. This series of articles will feature standouts from the tournament through the State Championship games.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2492814' first='Drew' last='Kortz'] - 2025 | CG | Freedom | 6'1" - With 30 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal, Kortz put a lot into his final game of the season. His 30 was the highest single game point total for an underclassman in the final three rounds of the tournament. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1412880' first='Javantae' last='Edwards'] - 2025 | CG | Carmen Northwest | 6'1" - Edwards went off for 29 in a tough matchup with St. Thomas More. He brought in 5 rebounds, swiped three steals and dished two assists as well.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2381695' first='Kaycee' last='Guzman'] - 2025 | CG | Lakeside Lutheran | 5'10" - Guzman had a well-rounded and impressive showing in the sectional finals round. He scored 21, grabbed 6 boards and dished out 5 assists in a tightly contested win over Platteville. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1390443' first='Davion' last='Hannah'] - 2025 | SF | Nicolet | 6'5" - While the highly touted Hannah recently announced he will be transferring to Link Academy in Branson, MO for his senior season, his contributions to Nicolet's success should not be forgotten. Hannah posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards in the sectional finals. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2388785' first='Kyle' last='Hehli'] - 2025 | CG | West Salem | 6'0" - Impacting the game vs River Falls in all facets, [player_tooltip player_id='2388785' first='Kyle' last='Hehli'] was instrumental in getting his team to Madison. The high-motor guard accumulated 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 19 points in the win. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1561944' first='Jacob' last='Hibner'] - 2026 | SG | Stoughton | 6'3" - Although Stoughton fell to eventual state runner-up Pewaukee, Hibner put up a good fight. Ranked number 17 in Wisconsin's 2026 class by Prep Hoops, the guard eclipsed his season average to score 16 in the sectional finals. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2631846' first='Josiah' last='Posey'] - 2025 | SF | Carmen Northwest | 6'3" - Posey was one of a trio of scorers who accounted for nearly all of the points for Carmen Northwest vs St. Thomas More. He finished the game with 16 points and 4 boards. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2025184' first='Wes' last='Rahn'] - 2026 | PF | Lakeside Lutheran | 6'7" - Another highly ranked player in Wisconsin (number 16, class of 2026) by Prep Hoops, Rahn made his impact felt in the Warrior's sectional finals win. The big man paired 15 points with 10 rebounds to secure a double-double. </p>

<p>Zare Gwinn - 2027 | CG | Racine Park | 6'0" - The first 2027 to appear on the divisions 2 and 3 list, Gwinn contributed 14 points on efficient shooting numbers. The guard hit 3-7 from the field and added a 3-4 shooting performance from beyond the arc. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1847792' first='Donovan' last='Davis'] - 2027 | PF | Freedom | 6'7" - Davis is one of the top ranked 2027 players in the state by Prep Hoops. The strong, athletic forward went for 14 points in Freedom's final game of the season.</p>
