The Last Dance was held over the weekend in Chicago. PHI was in the house for it all. We will have coverage all week from the event including here in The Last Dance: Illinois 2027 PGs/Combos!

[player_tooltip player_id='2125612' first='Devin' last='Cleveland'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'])

Cleveland is one of the top 2027 prospects in the state. He played up on the Fire 2026 team which played up as well on the 17U level in this event. Cleveland is a long and rangy combo guard that has a world of potential. He has a projectable frame with the ability to play both on and off the ball. Big time scorer that when he needs to take it to another level he has that gear. Plus shot maker from three that at times struggled, but overall was pretty good with the jumper from three. Free and easy release off the catch with the ability to score on crisp pullups as well. Took and made some really tough shots. Slick ball handler that can get to the rack and score just about as well as anyone with his nifty finishing game. Elite high-major target.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125677' first='Reggie' last='Stevens'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'])

Stevens had a monster weekend re-establishing himself among the better guards in the class after he only played limited minutes as a freshman. Combo that can really shoot the rock which he did at a very high level all weekend hitting threes in bunches throughout the event. It was his consistent three point shooting along with his athleticism that really stood out!

[player_tooltip player_id='2323606' first='Asa' last='Harris'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'])

Harris is a smaller guard that we loved the tenacity that he showed. The Leo guard is a pesky on ball defender with active hands and moves his feet creating turnovers. Also like the mid-range game with his quickness off the dribble and how he can get in there for pull ups. Solid passer and decision maker on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='2383925' first='Dariontez' last='Monroe'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears'])

Monroe is one of the underrated 2027 guards in the state. He is a strong and stocky left handed floor general that can really score with his speed and craftiness around the hoop. Pushes in the open floor and it was his pin point passing that stood out the most in their game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] as he hit his big men over and over for scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='2455378' first='Ed' last='Williams'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'])

Williams is a smaller guard from Lindblom that had a monster close to the even on Sunday for the Fire. He scored 26 points playing up against Minnesota Fury. It was the best scoring game we have seen out of him in his young career. Williams is a shifty ball handler that got in the lane not only scoring for himself, but kicking to shooters for open looks. Williams was effective knocking down threes of his own as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125687' first='Travis' last='Brown'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'])

Brown was excellent all weekend. The West Aurora 2027 guard made a super strong case to be one of the top guards in his class in our fall rankings unveiling. Long and rangy frame with speed to burn. He can get to the rim with his speed and slithery drives over and over again. Pushes so well in transition and finishes with acrobatics in the lane. Also really liked what we saw out of him in the mid-range with how well he shot it on pull ups in the 15-18 foot range. Monster weekend for Brown.

[player_tooltip player_id='2455399' first='Myles' last='Montgomery'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'])

Montgomery is a small guard from Sacred Heart Griffin who brings shake off the bounce getting in the lane for acrobatic scores. Solid three point shooter that is also quick with his hands on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425956' first='Perry' last='Tchiegne'] (M14 Adidas)

Tchiegne is a long and rangy guard that plays taller than his listed height. In the game against the Wolves he more than held his own with his playmaking feel getting others involved with his passing and smooth ball handling. Scored most of his points in the lane on acrobatic finishes or getting to the line. Projectable prospect to track.
