A 2 way get at the point position. Myles continues to showcase a next level type of quickness and handle with the ball while seeing the court through a true point guard’s lenses. Utilizes in and outs, crossovers, and hesitations to attract spacing from defender. Ability to go full speed with the ball and stop on a dime to change speeds vs division 1 athleticism is foretelling. Has a jet in the open floor with comfortability finishing vs more height and length once at the cup. Defensively fights over top of screens in on ball defender situations. Will crash glass from guard spot at times. Mid range jumper is smooth off the bounce. Impactful strong passer who will find the open guy for opportunities with skips over the top or driving then spraying it out. Spunky high energy guard that will continue to gain traction at next level. Finished with 17 and a handful of assists to go along with a few rebounds.

Saw team’s first game action running 5’s. A triple skilled threat at the PG position with scoring, facilitating, and guarding assets. Myles can burst into another speed quickly. One of the fastest guys I saw today in the gym. Defensively utilized it coming away with atleast a half dozen take-a-ways in the first half alone. Not a risk taker by any means. Just knows how to take the proper reads to anticipate where offense is moving. High riser on his jumper which is fundamentally sound. Splits gaps with the ball and can finish over more size and length with great bounce at the rim.

Illinois Wolves always play a fun style of play with their passing and ball movement, I enjoyed watching their 16 U group get the most out of their talent and dominate their opposition. I was really impressed by Montgomery who was one of the smallest players on the court but also one of the most impactful. Able to get where he wanted to off the dribble, Montgomery had a couple assists where he forced help defense and quickly found his teammate with a chance to score. Really enjoyed how Montgomery got everybody on his team involved on Friday.

Montgomery is an exciting ball handler who has it on a string. He is a quick and shifty lead guard that is always pushing the pace. Plays with speed and makes those around him better with his passing. Pull up jumpers, coast to coast takes, and excelled turning his defense into offense. Scrappy defender that swipes steals on the regular for points on the other end as he had 15 points.

Myles was the smallest player on the floor against Minnesota Fury , but made a huge impact with his ball pressure. His team was struggling after one half, and in the second he came out and really gave them a boost of energy with his effort to help lead them to a win. Myles was all over the place pressuring the ball and forcing errors, picking up a handful of steals that led to easy buckets and gave his team a ton of momentum. Someone who doesn’t need to score a lot to make an impact, as the energy he brings defensively seems to be infectious.
