About Casston

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play fast and aggressive. I want to get out in transition, run the floor, and make plays before the defense can set up. If I see an open shot, I’m taking it with confidence, whether it’s from three or the midrange. I like creating space, pulling up, and making defenders respect my jumper. On defense, I’m willing to sacrifice my body and take charges to shift momentum and fire my team up.

Casston is an athletic slasher out of East Aurora High School running with 88 West this spring. On Friday night he was showcasing some explosive athleticism against Northstar Titans , taking off for a left handed dunk right over a defender. The 6’3 wing has a quick first step, and shows no hesitation attacking the basket when presented with a gap. After transferring in to the East Aurora program, Casston ended up being an instant impact player this past winter as he earned All Conference honors.
