The second week of July is almost over, meaning the summer live period is in full swing. Post play is something that can help teams make deep runs and Non-Public A has talent to watch down low. Here are some of the Non-Public A post prospects to track this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='1547474' first='Yaw' last='Ansong'], 6'11 C Union Catholic 2025

Ansong has the potential to have a strong summer with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'11 post has a nice touch around the basket and elevates for dunks in the halfcourt. Ansong has a high release on his jumper and his range extends out to the three-point line. He swats a ton of shots around the basket and skies for rebounds. Ansong is a lanky post prospect whose ability to swat shots around the rim will help his game over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1603412' first='Keiner' last='Asprilla'], 6'11 C Don Bosco Prep 2026

Asprilla is the top post prospect in the 2026 class and will be one to watch over the summer. The 6'11 post uses his strong frame to get position down low and is able to draw contact in the paint. Asprilla runs the floor hard, setting himself for easy layups and dunks in transition. He is a force on the boards at both ends of the floor and blocks almost everything around the basket. Asprilla is a talented post prospect who should impact the paint at both ends over the course of July and August.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201962' first='Andrew' last='Iduh'], 6'8 PF Hudson Catholic 2027

Iduh has the ability to play either the four or the five, making him an intriguing prospect to track. The 6'8 forward knows how to find space down low and finishes nicely around the basket. Iduh moves well without the ball in his hands and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He is tough to box out on the offensive glass and holds his ground on the defensive end. Iduh is a hard-working forward prospect whose ability to finish in the paint and grab rebounds will help his stock over the course of the next month.

[player_tooltip player_id='1553776' first='Farouk' last='Muntari'], 6'8 PF Union Catholic 2025

Muntari teams up with Ansong in the Vikings' frontcourt and provides them with a different skillset. The 6'8 forward sets his feet before he shoots and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Muntari can also put the ball on the floor and is an underrated passer. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences a ton of shots around the basket. Muntari's ability to stretch the floor is something that could help him raise his stock throughout the rest of the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595677' first='Logan' last='Franz'], 6'10 PF Rutgers Prep 2026

Franz has the potential to breakout this summer with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'10 forward uses his length to block shots in the paint and is able to generate second chance opportunities for his team on the offensive end. Franz can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He finishes nicely around the basket and moves well without the ball in his hands. Franz is a long forward prospect whose ability to score in the paint and protect the basket will be something that will help his development in a bigay.
