The region of New England is very rich and vibrant in basketball talent. There are sometimes too many players to talk about and cover. This leads to some awesome players worthy of the spotlight, not getting the recognition they deserve to some extent. Today, I'm here to change that by bringing to attention some under the radar prospects in the New England area!

[player_tooltip player_id='2421244' first='Leo' last='Fauver'] is a shooting guard still growing into his body and is in the early stages of development. The early flashes he has shown are extremely enticing, especially from a shooting perspective. Fauver can shoot off the dribble and take tough shots from the perimeter with unorthodox right-handed mechanics. He can come off screens or relocate to find open shots off the ball and knock down from long range off the catch. Fauver looks comfortable running the floor in transition and has potential as a defender with good length and anticipation skills for creating turnovers. While not a finished product, he looks like he should be in for massive improvement and should be a high-upside proposition that programs and coaches should track over the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553687' first='Tommy' last='Misukanis'] is a long and lanky forward with tons of upside left to tap into. What stands out the most about his game on the offensive end is the interior finishing. Misukanis is a willing roll man who has great touch, using it to finish almost anything close to the basket to score points and be highly efficient. His rebounding effort is outstanding on both ends and shows great instincts protecting the rim down low and playing in drop coverage. Misukanis has also shown a potential to stretch the floor, knocking down threes off the catch with a left-handed stroke. With added weight, he could be a player who could impact winning in multiple ways and should be monitored by programs and coaches alike.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568332' first='Raul' last='Cruz'] is a strong and sturdy lead guard whose maturity on the offensive end is extremely impressive. The passing instincts he displays are awe-inspiring, as he makes quick and decisive calls while finding his teammates with high-velocity passes. Cruz always keeps his head up to any opportunity and the reads he makes throughout games would be labeled as advanced. He also can balance his ball moving by getting to his spots in the mid-range and knocking down off-the-bounce jumpers and runners. Cruz welcomes contact on his drives too, always playing tough and passionate with his heart on his sleeve. This intensity also translates to the defensive end, picking up opposing lead ball handlers and embracing difficult assignments. There's a lot to fall in love with Cruz, and coaches will probably feel similarly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470921' first='Adam' last='Malima'] is a quick and shifty ball handler who looks tailor-made to play the point. He has blazing-fast speed and gets to the rim whenever he wants while also finishing softly with either hand around the basket. When defenses collapse on Malima, he can make swift passes to open teammates down low or in the corners for wide-open threes. He loves to push the pace in transition making some crazy looks and displaying top-tier confidence. Malima can even get hot when left open on the three-point line, most notably off the catch. His defense is also solid, making steals and turning his turnovers into easy offense on the other end. If Malima can add some off-the-dribble shooting to his repertoire in the next couple of years, he will become even harder to stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='1866236' first='Jeremiah' last='Carter'] is an explosive shooting guard who pops from a skill and athletic standpoint. He has top-tier burst and speed and can get by anyone he wants to in the half-court, finishing over the top of defenders and throwing down nasty posterizing jams. Carter's skill as a scorer is also impressive, being comfortable handling the ball and knocking down shots off the dribble from mid-range and three. He isn't afraid to pull up either and has legitimate three-level scoring potential as a primary or secondary option. Carter also has smart instincts defensively, moving his feet guarding the perimeter, and making steals with good anticipation. You don't see this combination often in a prospect, which should make him, a very sought-after target among coaches and programs soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568428' first='Ty' last='Grudzien'] is a hard-nosed point guard who plays the game the right way. His defense both on and off the ball is mesmerizing and is the first thing that wowed me about his game. Grudzien is sneaky quick and accelerates fast, which makes him stick on ball handlers with ease, recover quickly for weak-side blocks, and make steals out of nowhere. Offensively, his touch is great, and uses floaters on the ball to score points effectively. Grudzien can also stretch the floor from deep off the catch and make smart passes to cutters when leading the charge at the point. The dogged mentality he brings to the court is a trait worth investing in along with the other skills he brings to the table, and should excite coaches as a result.

[player_tooltip player_id='2494159' first='Gabe' last='Huss'] is a potent offensive guard who can give defenses in a variety of aspects. The shooting is the first thing that he excels at a high level. Huss can knock down shots off-the-catch and off-the-dribble, in all areas of the court which makes him hard to stop when on fire. He is an underrated driver as well and showcases his good touch near the basket. As a passer, Huss finds his teammates with ease and is very effective in the pick-and-roll and on the move on the fast break. He competes hard defensively and will set out his body for steals. The shortness in stature does not seem to affect him, as his shooting gravity and high IQ overcome such obstacles. Definitely should be monitored by programs in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2171300' first='Adomas' last='Klinga'] is a smart and well-rounded point guard hailing from Lithuania. Steady and stable, he looks very under control on the court which leads to little mistakes and high efficiency. Klinga is an outstanding perimeter shooter off the catch, with mechanics that look too good to be true. When defenders try to close out, he can drive right by them and finish with floaters or layups at the rim. Klinga is tough-minded and embraces contact at the basket. On top of that, he also makes smart passes in the half-court which gives his teammates easy looks to score the ball. An intellectual player, Klinga should be a huge boost to a team needing stability at either guard spot and should be taken seriously as a prospect by coaches and college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532428' first='Reggie' last='Grodin'] is a floor-spacing forward who knows how to put the ball in the basket. He has terrific shooting skills and great-looking form mechanics. Grodin is excellent from the all-around the three-point line and isn't afraid to shoot from way beyond the arch with a confident demeanor. He is also a very adept ball handler in transition and has counters such as Eurosteps to get through traffic. Grodin's smarts also stand out in multiple ways, being a cutter to the basket off the ball, making smart and quick decisions in the half-court with the ball, or making shrewd steals on the defensive end. His overall versatility in many areas leads to winning basketball and is a prospect that coaches would be interested in acquiring.
