The Grit Region Finals tips off tonight! By the end of the weekend, we will see who the champions are in this region of the Prep Hoops Circuit. Needless to say, there will be tons of talented teams and players in all of the gyms. Let's take a look at some of the players to watch from Michigan's class of 2025 at the Grit Region Finals.

This is must see right here with Big Nik Basketball. He has a host of Division 1 interest and offers for a reason. Hatchett is strong and aggressive with the ball. He attacks and touches the paint and makes plays from there for himself and his teammates. Hatchett can get off the ground and finish in a variety of ways.

It seems like Charleston is always in "PlayersTo Watch" articles. And for good reason. You should watch him play with the [program_tooltip program_id='2076061' first='Detroit' last='Bulldogs'] this weekend. He uses his strength on the perimeter to create space and can be a very dangerous shooter. Charleston can also get physical mid range buckets and score near the rim.

Moore can be found with a talented [program_tooltip program_id='2077028' first='North' last='Oakland Wolfpack'] 17u team. He plays perfectly with sharpshooters like [player_tooltip player_id='1438245' first='John' last='Kaul'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1439365' first='Jake' last='Champagne']. Moore is constantly in motion without the ball and forces the defense to react. He can hit a jumper from beyond the arc and has a pretty mid range game.

Goetz could draw a lot of attention at the Grit Region Finals. He just has that next level look when you see his frame and his game. Goetz can handle physicality under the rim and he actually can play even bigger than he is. Offensively, he's a definite asset as he can be a multi level scorer.

Muhl has not just starred on the PH Circuit the last 2 years, he's done it while playing up as well. In my opinion this proves that size/height is certainly not an issue. The young man is a baller and a top 20 talent in the 2026 class. Muhl can be counted on as a primary ball handler for his Top 1 2025 Select team and can play multiple roles as the lead guard.

Hider has already stood out with his play on the PH Circuit and should have some eyes on him and his Top 1 2025 team this weekend in Indianapolis. First of all, he's a true and effective leader at the point guard position. Hider features a well rounded game that allows him to often times lead the team in both scoring and assists.

Thompkins and Hatchett might make up 1 of the best backcourts in the field. Scary to think that they're high school teammates as well. Thompkins is a good old fashioned grinder. He's physically just stronger and faster than most of the players he'll match up with.
