What teams do we think will make a major step forward when it comes to games won and final results in 2024-25? Here is our list!

Faribault (13-14). The Falcons took a nice step last year and should taken even bigger step next winter. They have the talent to become a top ten team in state as they have a major rim protector and paint finisher in [player_tooltip player_id='2115655' first='Ryan' last='Kreager'] plus a double-double active four man next to him in [player_tooltip player_id='2118832' first='Breuer' last='Wolff']. Their guard depth is also very strong. [player_tooltip player_id='2412797' first='Rashid' last='Ibrahim'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2109883' first='Mohamed' last='Madey'] were outstanding in June coming off good years plus double figure scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1874799' first='Braden' last='Schulz'] is back as is Nolan Vogelsberg, [player_tooltip player_id='1560854' first='Tristan' last='Gonzalez'] and others.

Fergus Falls (14-14). The Otters improved by eight games a season ago and they return nine of their top ten players from last season! They have one of the better senior point guards in [player_tooltip player_id='1586881' first='Henry' last='Bethel'] and one of the top up and coming 2025 prospects in [player_tooltip player_id='2103377' first='Ryan' last='Hirst']. It's a team that will have experience, a leader at point guard, and a prospect with size that should have a monster season. Plus depth.

Monticello (11-16). The Magic won ONE game in 2022-23. They saw players transfer but still improved by ten games last year, and now we think they can be a top 20 team in Class AAA, maybe top 15 with a chance to spend some time in the top ten. Six-foot-six/6'7 big man [player_tooltip player_id='2103379' first='Jackson' last='Soroko'] was the leading scorer and rebounder last year and he returns as a senior. Soroko has been very good this 17u season for Comets Allen. The backcourt has three double figure scorers back and it's one from each returning class: 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2125143' first='Brayden' last='Dollard'], 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1560822' first='Rhys' last='Nebben'], and 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2140623' first='Hunter' last='Miller']. In all, seven of their top eight players return.

Mound-Westonka (11-16). The White Hawks return seven of their top nine guys from last year's rotation including [player_tooltip player_id='1585944' first='Max' last='Kraay'] who scored 22 points a game a season ago. Kraay is an AAA All State level player plus this team has spent the off-season playing a load of basketball together in several events and during summer practice. Six foot guard [player_tooltip player_id='2434741' first='Cole' last='Drill'] scored 14 a game last year and returns as does forward [player_tooltip player_id='2104525' first='Matthew' last='Mobagi'] and guard Jacob Orenge.

Northfield (12-15). For starters, and the main part of the point, [player_tooltip player_id='1385264' first='Isaiah' last='Mahal'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1521424' first='Kayden' last='Oakland'] have been outstanding this spring and summer. Two players that are that talented in the Big Nine should be able to help their team improve from being .500 in league play. Tait Narveson and JT Graupmann also return from the rotation.
