About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a multifaceted player who is able to get boards, shoot at 40% from the 3, and am a force to be reckoned with defensively. I have skills also including court vision and being able to thread the needle with passes.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a drive to want to win and do my best not only for myself, but for my team. I've always been told that I'm very coachable because I listen to what I'm being told and then do what I'm told. I've been a leader for my high school team since being a sophomore and also take that role with my AAU team. I want to be the best I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been on Honor Roll throughout my High School career.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Coming into my varsity career as a Sophomore on a team that was being reconstructed was difficult. Our team the first year had a record of 1-26. It's not easy to lose, but it does teach you to be humble. It also didn't detur me from going out every single game and giving it my all and being encouraging towards my teammates. I organically took on the role as leader with my team to help better us

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm open to what type of college I'm looking for. However, I want to make sure that the academic programs provided are suitable for a career path of interest.

Jackson Soroko Jackson Soroko Jackson Soroko 6'7" | PF/SG Monticello | 2025 State MN – The Monticello Magic six-foot-six-inch Soroko had a big year averaging 17 points and double digit rebounds per game on the 24-5 3A Section 5 runner-ups to Totino-Grace team. Soroko has made good strides as a reliable outside shooter like he versus Totino-Grace with four 3-pointers, he’s strong, and a tough rebounder. Soroko passes well, and doesn’t usually get a narrow field of vision when he does put the ball on the floor.

Jackson Soroko Jackson Soroko Jackson Soroko 6'7" | PF/SG Monticello | 2025 State MN , 2025 six-foot-six-inch uncommitted senior forward was very effective for the Magic from the perimeter. Soroko hit four 3-pointers and his shot looked very fluid and natural, quite an improvement from a couple seasons ago when Soroko seemed much less confident in his shooting ability. Soroko has solid size, and some of the actions for shots the Magic ran him in showed more than just a pick and pop type player.
