2026: Prospects on the Rise (Part 2)

He's a point guard with a high IQ for knowing how to control the pace and find guys in their spots to make things happen in a hurry. He was a successful piece in their success on the UA stage as one of the leaders on the hardwood. He has the ability to fill up the stat sheet without just scoring the basketball. He's a floor general due for a breakout junior year for the Lake Norman Wildcats following last year's run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Swindell has been quite the presence for [program_tooltip program_id='2078544' first='Team' last='Swish'] on the grassroots scene this cycle while showing off his versatility at 6-foot-4. He's a sizeable presence who knows how to utilize his length and strong frame to his advantage as he creates matchup issues for opponents while also showcasing his versatility defensively. He's shown he can operate at a number of positions on the hardwood given his effort and activity. He'll be a prospect to watch on the hardwood for Caldwell Academy on the NCISAA stage in 2024-25.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Dance is another guard prospect who prospered on the grassroots scene with [program_tooltip program_id='2227290' first='Warriors' last='Life Elite'] this cycle. He's another combo guard who's shown he can operate at both guard roles while acting as quite the defensive presence as well with his quickness and IQ on the hardwood. He's a prospect at Currituck High to keep track of after producing 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game during his sophomore year. He's a prospect on the rise in the class and due for a breakout junior year in 2024-25.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Holmes is an intriguing prospect to get to know at Garner High this upcoming high school season. He showcased off his talents with [program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] on the UA Rise scene this grassroots cycle, showing off his ability to knock down shots off the bounce, shoot the ball on the perimeter and create in the painted area. He's just scratching the surface of what he can do as he heads into his junior year as an inside-out presence with his length and athleticism at 6-foot-5. He's another guard out of Southern Guilford High who's shown his development making quick, decisive plays with the ball in his hands both scoring and distributing out of the backcourt at the combo guard spot. He's due to show his growth given his underrated strength/frame as another high school season approaches in a few months. He produced 5.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game with Laney High as a sophomore on varsity this past season. He's an intriguing guard prospect at 6-foot-4 who's shown he can operate with and without the ball in his hands in the backcourt. His growing confidence as a playmaker on the floor should carry him over the next few seasons. He's a rising junior prospect to keep an eye on this upcoming season with Laney High as he works his way up the PH radar.</p>
