A double double threat whenever he’s on the floor, Dance has the intangibles and skillset to be the top guards in the 252 area code this season. Standing at 6’3 with a solid frame he’s best with the ball in his hands but can play off ball when needed and can fill up the stats sheet from either position. In a December conference game last year he finished with a triple double, then later exploded for 41 points in a February conference game not long after.

He led their varsity squad with 22.8 points per game in 2024-25, up from 12.4 points per contest in his junior season. He also raised his rebounds per game from 5.9 per contest to 9.3 rebounds per contest. He’s a guard prospect who can find his shots in a variety of ways to continue his relentless attack. He’s a prospect for DII/DIII programs in the region to get on their radar. He’ll suit up with BSM Waka Flocka this spring/summer.

He’s another combo guard who’s shown he can operate at both guard roles while acting as quite the defensive presence as well with his quickness and IQ on the hardwood. He’s a prospect at Currituck High to keep track of after producing 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game during his sophomore year. He’s a prospect on the rise in the class and due for a breakout junior year in 2024-25.

Jamie Dance Jamie Dance 6'3" | CG Currituck County | 2026 State NC is a name to keep an eye on in the 3A East at Currituck High after a productive varsity debut in 2022-23. He’s an active 6-foot floor general that showed he could do a little bit of everything for the Knights, posting 10.0 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.4 apg and 1.9 spg while shooting 45 percent from the field and 37 percent from behind the arc. He’s set to have a solid career for his squad already with his upside in the backcourt and is an early name to track in the state of North Carolina with GBBA Next Up Select on the grassroots scene as well.
