The rising Junior point guard was in his bag on Saturday morning with a monster performance to start the day. Getting to his spots off the dribble and using craftiness when finishing at the rim, Drexler has some similarities to Alabama point guard Mark Sears who starred in the MAC before transferring to the SEC powerhouse. Drexler is also an elite off the dribble shooter who has excellent touch on jumpers and floaters. Hoping to continue to see Drexler work on filling out his frame to score at the rim easier, he does a nice job once he gets defenders on his hip of not letting them get back into the play but can struggle with a straight up contest from a longer player. One of my favorite players to watch in the entire state, Drexler should be a must view for basketball fans around Cleveland to go watch this winter.

Lakota West is going to compete for the GMC title this season thanks to a nice variety of senior leadership and underclassmen talent. Meade-Moss is a prime example of a tough senior guard who will defend, be physical and most importantly knock down shots from the perimeter. He did all those things on Saturday and also scored in transition when the opportunity came. Small college programs should take a look at Meade-Moss if they want a tough two guard who can space the floor.

A rising senior with an old school game, Gentile is a throwback type wing guard. An efficient scorer due to his elite shooting ability, Gentile does a nice job of creating contact and either stepping back or powering through the defender to score. A tough shot maker off the bounce, Gentile gets to his spots and is confident. Not going to win any high jump contests, Gentile has to use his skill to throw off defenders and use moves he's master with a strong work ethic. After finishing sixth in the GWOC in scoring as a Junior, Gentile should once again be one of the toughest covers in the greater Dayton area's top conference.

Massillon Jackson was looking a bit like the prime Golden State Warriors on Saturday, making probably 45-50 3-pointers in three games. Finefrock had 11 in the first game of the day and caught fire early in the second game that I was able to catch. With the prolific offense that the Polar Bears are running early in the summer thanks to a senior trio that all return from last season, other teams simply aren't as crisp just yet as Massillon Jackson is. When you combine chemistry, ball movement and elite shooting you get performances like what Finefrock had on Saturday where he shot the cover off the ball. Life is a little tougher in the well scouted Federal League come wintertime, but expect Massillon Jackson to run up the score on a lot of teams in the month of June.

Delaware Hayes had a full roster on Saturday and looked impressive with their experienced core of returning Juniors and Seniors. I could've picked a couple prospects to spotlight but I went with Piatt-Brown due to his quick decision making, unselfishness and efficiency. Another team that shared the ball at a high level and let the open man score, Piatt-Brown did a nice job hitting teammates streaking down the court after rebounds and steals and when the ball was swung to him, Piatt-Brown was not shy to knock down the open shot. Watching the Pacers, it's no surprise they won the central region last season and will once again be one of the top teams in central Ohio this coming season.

Westerville North has a lot of guard talent which means players on their team need to be comfortable playing without the ball in their hands because there's only one basketball for their guards to share. On Saturday, I thought Perkins scored off the ball on cuts, spot-ups and set plays as well as I've ever seen in his career. Scoring without needing to put the ball on the floor can really help improve percentages and in a stretch in the second half of a great game with Lawrence Central, Perkins scored five or six consecutive buckets off spot-up corner 3's, backdoor cuts and scramble plays where the ball found him in a position to score at the rim. If Westerville North is finally going to break through a win conference and district titles, they'll need to play how they did in the second half where the ball was flying around the court and their defense was swarming and causing turnovers.

It's a new era in Centerville after the Elks graduated another star studded senior class with guys like Jonathan Powell and Baboucarr Njie. With those seniors out the door, there's no mystery who the new man in charge is offensively. Greenberg did an excellent job on Saturday letting the game come to him and looked a tier above the competition when the Elks dominated Walnut Hills. Getting to his spots and hitting pull-up 3-pointers with plenty of space, Greenberg was efficient in the lone game I caught. After not seeing Greenberg all spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2076317' first='Midwest' last='Basketball Club 3SSB'], it was nice to catch him early in the month of June with a more prominent offensive role.

The host Princeton has a lot of talent and played some top teams throughout the weekend. I was impressed with a few players on their team but none more so than Gill. A super athletic wing guard who can score in transition, jump out the gym and plays hard, Gill did a lot of things I like to see from younger guys getting adjusted to the varsity level. After getting some minutes as a Freshman, I expect Gill to play a major role for the Vikings this winter. His athleticism already pops in person, expect the skill level to come around shortly for Gill.
