is one of the best in southwest Ohio and after impressing at the Wright State and Miami (OH) team camp, expect to see a lot of eyes on this team in Sandusky. Wiley is a quick guard who can beat you off the dribble from the point of attack. Shifty on the ball, Wiley can beat you with a variety of crossovers and euro-step finishes at the rim. He’s been improving his 3-point shot but it’s still a work in progress. Knocking down a couple rainbow 3-pointers in the game I caught, Wiley will need to do that on a consistent basis at the college level. After an impressive 2023-24 season that ended in the regional finals, Cincinnati Wyoming is a state title threat in 2024-25.

Not to be forgotten about in Wyoming’s deep 2026 core, Gray has shown me some noticeable improvements this summer. I’ve been really impressed with his on ball defense this summer, making an impact guarding opposing ball handlers and making their lives difficult. As a secondary creator, Gray also had some nice moments getting downhill off the dribble and finishing in the lane. Gray has a strong build for his size and could continue to impact the game by doing the dirty work for Wyoming.

Western Hills looks to have a solid core for next season with Darden and Seydou Keita Seydou Keita 6'6" | PF Cincinnati Western Hills | 2025 State OH impressing on Wednesday. Darden is a tough shot maker who hit a handful of pull-ups and spot-ups in the lone game I caught of his on Wednesday. A rhythm shooter, when Darden got to his spots to rise up he shot a high percentage on self-created looks. He seemed most comfortable with the right to left crossover into a pull-up jumper. The CMAC always has talent and after a 5-5 finish in 2023-24, Western Hills will look to get to the top of the league this winter.

My first time watching Martin and he was really impressive as he helped lead Loveland back from a near 20 point deficit to take the lead, before eventually falling in a fun battle with Tri Village. Martin passed it at a high level, with multiple transition dimes off defensive rebounds. A quick straight line athlete, Martin was able to get downhill and beat his primary defender off the dribble. His strength was also apparent with multiple and-1 finishes at the rim. I also thought Martin played hard on both ends and was flying around on the court. Expect Martin to be one of the top scorers in the ECC this winter.

A defensive pest, Lewis Jr played some of the best on-ball defense I’ve seen this summer on Wednesday. Moving his feet and not fouling with his hands, Lewis Jr was getting steals and forcing tough shots on the perimeter. Lewis was tied for ninth in the GMC in steals last season and should be top five as a senior. Combine that with a couple transition dunks and Lewis Jr had his most impressive outing I’ve seen him have on Wednesday. If Lewis Jr can start consistently knocking down jumpers from the perimeter, he could be a breakout star for Fairfield.
