Pat Curtin was one of the best scorers at DMVlive this past weekend and was probably the best shooter. Curtin is a shot creator from three and hit some tough shots all weekend. What impressed me the most about Curtin’s ability as a shooter was that when he was dribbling in either direction, he was still able to knock down shots. Pat finished the weekend hitting 15/29 threes in 3 games and shot 88% from the line.

was one of my favorite players I got to watch at DeMatha. He understands the game at a high level, which was a big part of his excellent shooting weekend. Aidan is great off the ball as a mover and knocks down spot-up looks. He also can get his shots himself from range. Aidan is smooth and always in control. He shot 9/22 from three and made all 12 of his free throws.

scored the ball at a high level all weekend. Mason is a talented shot-creator and a pure scorer. Some of the guys on this list or just in general were a little streaky with their shots on a game-to-game basis, but Mason looked locked in with his jump shot every game, which is one of the best tells for a great shooter. Even back to Loyola-Blakefield’s qualifiers, Mason has shot the ball well. He ended the weekend hitting 9 of his 19 threes in 3 games.

is the tallest guy here, and after struggling a little bit with his shot early, he caught fire and showed why he’s such an elite shooter. Connor is a stretch 4 right now and was one of the best catch-and-shoot shooters all weekend. I could see Connor being a little more of a wing in the future instead of a forward, but at 6’7 and an elite shot, Connor is a very intriguing player. He shot 19/45 from three in 4 games.

BJ Ranson BJ Ranson 6'1" | PG Mount St. Joseph | 2026 State MD had a couple of great shooting games for Mt. St. Joseph. He can hit shots in multiple ways. Overall, he is best suited on the ball, but he does well as a shooter off the ball as well. He creates his looks and is a pure scorer. BJ shot 11/25 from three in four games.

Christian Wilkins is a guy who, when watching him, I felt could be an excellent three-and-d prospect at the next level. Christian is great at playing either guard spot and is effective as a shooter on or off the ball. Christian has nice size for a guard at the next level. Truthfully, Christian did not have his greatest offensive weekend, but he did well knocking down threes. He went 9/20 from three.
A year ago, Chris Richards would not be on this list. He deserves much credit for where his jump shot is now, and this weekend was a great example. Chris is a great athlete and has next-level in size for a guard. The shot was the last thing missing for me, and it looked great last weekend. Chris has developed into a reliable catch-and-shoot threat, and even though he did not take that many threes, he was super efficient. He went 9/12 from three in 4 games.
