Costello has always been one of the most explosive scorers in Iowa's 2024 class, and when he gets it rolling like he did midway through the first half of this game, he's tough to slow down with the combination of his size, athleticism, and quick trigger on his release. He shoots it extremely well both off the dribble and the catch. He poured in 25 points for United in their win.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1288917"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"A strong, athletic guard who can impact the game in a variety of ways, Helmers is used to being a big-time scorer at Algona, but plays a different role here. The lefty absorbs contact well and is able to get to his spots in the mid-range as well as get all the way to the rim for finishes or to find an open teammate when the defense collapses. He a good athlete who rebounds well, especially on the defensive end, and he looks to push the pace after pulling down a defensive board.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1381402"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"The 6-10 forward from Grand View Christian continues to improve his offensive skill set and gain confidence with each time we see him. He's now shooting it from 3 with a lot of confidence, with a high release and he gets good rotation on his shot. He's active on the glass on both ends of the floor, using his long arms and soft hands to corral rebounds, and he's a solid help defender who rotates over and protects the paint defensively. He can still be a little stiff at times athletically, but that is generally the case with most young bigs, and he's becoming more fluid each time I see him play. He had 15 points in the win.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2398006"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"On this talented team, Tunks isn't asked to carry a heavy scoring burden, which allows him to showcase some of the other areas he can thrive in. For a guard, he's really good on the glass, sticking his nose in and competing on both ends of the floor against bigger bodies for rebounds. He's a good passer who sees the floor well, and he looks to push the tempo whenever he can, always trying to find the hit-ahead pass for an easy bucket for a teammate. He's a solid on-ball defender who can move his feet and cause some chaos on that end of the floor. And when the opportunity presents, he's good at attacking off the dribble going in either direction, showing good body control around the rim and the ability to finish through contact.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["2410422"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"It's easy to see why Diane, who plays his high school ball in Canada, holds a number of Division I offers already. The 7-1 big man is a mobile, physically imposing presence in the paint who can turn shots away at one end, then finish with an emphatic dunk on the other. He has good hands and does a good job controlling the painted area on both ends of the floor. His offensive game is still a work in progress, but he showed good touch and a reliable go-to move when he catches the ball on the left block and goes across the lane into a righty jumphook. He looks to dunk just about everything around the rim and is an assertive player on both ends of the floor who has a very bright future if he continues to work hard and develop his all-around game. He was absolutely dominant, scoring 28 points in the win.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_5_player_details_player_name":"Kaleel Sutton-White","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_5_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_5_player_details_height":"5'11u0022","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_5_player_details_position":"77246","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_5_player_details_school":"Dynastie","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_5_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2270834' first='Iowa' last='United']","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_5_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_5_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Another Canadian product on this team, Sutton-White is a quick, pass-first guard who uses his speed to push the tempo on the offensive end. He's a true floor general who directs traffic on both ends of the floor, almost like having another coach on the court, and he's a tough competitor who will stick his nose in on the glass on both ends of the floor. He showed confidence in his jumper from the mid-range, especially getting to his spots off the dribble.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1647832"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"The Minnesota native is a long, athletic wing who uses his huge wingspan to impact the game on the defensive end, contesting shots on the perimeter and getting into passing lanes. He's a good enough ball-handler to lead the break after pulling down a defensive rebound, and he showed some ability to create in the halfcourt off the dribble as well. He's an intriguing young prospect with his athleticism and length.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_7_player_details_player_name":"Ibrahim Basima","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_7_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_7_player_details_height":"6'6u0022","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_7_player_details_position":"77247","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_7_player_details_school":"Dynastie","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_7_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2270834' first='Iowa' last='United']","_player_evaluations_7_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_7_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_7_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Basima is a long, bouncy athletic wing who can impact the game on the defensive end in a variety of ways.
