Prep Hoops Florida hosted another premier high school basketball event featuring rising talent from the 2024-2028 classes. Saturday's Florida State Tournament provided 20+ AAU teams from 15U-18U a chance to compete against peers and to allow student-athletes to showcase their skills and compete against top talent in front of PH Scouts. Let's get into our Top Prospect Standouts from this weekend's event in Winter Haven, FL.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397027' first='Carson' last='Crawford'] | G/F | 2027 | Fleming Island | @crsncrwd12

My underclassmen tournament MVP this weekend was hands down 2027 F [player_tooltip player_id='2397027' first='Carson' last='Crawford']. He helped NFS United 16U take home the championship trophy with high-flying finishes and backboard blocks. As noted, this kid was instantly put on my radar before taking the court because of the incredible wingspan. Crawford is about 6-4 with a lengthy frame and good bounce to go with it. He may have shown the most upside for the 2027 class on Day One because of his ability to get it done in all three phases. He ended up playing up a grade level as well to get some extra work in before championship Sunday.

Corey Perlin | G | 2025 | Countryside | @coreyperlin2

No doubt, Perlin was my top guard prospect at the PH Florida Tournament this weekend. He was the main ball handler for PSG 17U where he directed the offense and set the tone with his play. Perlin is a physical guard that can handle the rock, play tough defense, and hit knockdown shots from the perimeter or near the rim. The rising senior was a go-to scoring threat this weekend and should take this momentum into the summer to lock in some college interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2441660' first='Joshua' last='Skinner'] | CG | 2025 | Miramar | IG: im.josh07

This kid was my 17U MVP of the weekend because of his overall standout play that helped Blaze Hoops 2025 take home the championship on Sunday. Skinner was that guy this weekend as he showed off his ability to be a playmaker at the next level with bouncy athleticism and a sneaky developing three-point shot. Good work for Skinner who holds a single offer from Eastern Illinois University. After averaging 17.3 ppg last season, the ball is in his court to lock in some college interest this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447019' first='Amir' last='Parrimon'] | F | 2025 | Palmetto |

I'm not sure if there was anyone more athletic than this kid who literally almost jumped over someone to finish a dunk on Day One. He only followed up that performance by showing off his full range of skills on Sunday where he was one of the better and more versatile defenders and showed off an underrated finishing game near the rim.

Landon Sullivan | F | 2025 | IMG | @lasullivan15

Sullivan had one of the more college-ready builds and body control to go with it this weekend in Winter Haven. He wasn't on my list at the end of Day One but has landed in my top five standouts as Sullivan showed off an overall decent game on Championship Sunday. At 6-6, Sullivan stood out because of his ability to guard various positions but watching him work on the offense end and get to the free throw line locked him in as an interesting prospect.
