Williams is a testament to the fact that scouts and coaches want to see way more than points per game. Williams had a really good floor game on Saturday. He made good reads and smart decisions with the ball and was excellent breaking pressure D with the pass. Williams brought defensive energy to the floor as well.
Highlights
Ryan Platte
Ryan Platte
Platte is an intriguing post prospect and showed that he’s a player to keep an eye on. He has good footwork under the rim and soft feet that not many young post players have. Platte showed a solid mid range game. He was really dangerous out of the high post with the ability to shot and attack the rim off a 2 dribble drive.
Kinkema is having a breakout spring. He’s shown that he can be an elite guard. He can play at a high level as a facilitator and primary ball handler. But Kinkema can also step off the ball where he can swing it and score. Regardless, he can be counted on to share the ball and make the right decision with it.

Braxton was an impressive player at the Great Lakes Warriorz Spring Shoot Out. He was an athletic rim runner that finished with both hands on both sides of the rim. Braxton brought a lot of energy to both ends of the floor for his team. He was incredibly active on the offensive glass.

Huston Smith
Huston Smith
Smith was a post player that was impressive in Novi. He showed that he could use his strength on the block and back his man down with physicality. Smith appeared very comfortable working off the right block. Even with his post game, he still had the ability to run the floor and clean up as a trailer.
Francis, quite simply, is a next level shooter. He showed range on his jumper that extends beyond the arc. Francis showed that he could be a momentum swinger and have his team up 10 before the opponent knows what hit them. I was impressed with his ability and his desire to log heavy minutes.
