In addition to Tyree, [player_tooltip player_id='2391548' first='Victor' last='Drummond'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2392231' first='Brady' last='Weaver'] each made key shots to push their team to a Friday night win. I was most impressed with Tyree who started the game on fire with three quick 3's. He continued his efficient scoring by using the pump fake to get defenders in the air before driving for easy scoop layups at the rim. Showing good touch not just on 3-pointers but also floaters and lefty layups, Tyree was scoring the ball in a variety of ways. Tyree had five games of eight points or more with Northmont as a Junior, I could see him averaging close to that number this season if he plays with the confidence he showed on Friday night.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2125764"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"A double-digit PPG scorer as a freshman starting on varsity, Rohrer is a player who is used to playing against older competition. That made it no surprise to me that he made a big impact playing up two age groups on Friday night. One of the best defenders and athletes on the court, the motor Rohrer played with stood out. Forcing turnovers with his pressure and going hard after loose balls, Rohrer had some hustle plays to help his team walk away with a win. Combine this with a couple strong drives to the basket and two assists in crunch time and Rohrer was an easy choice for a standout player.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2204914"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Timely shooting was key for Murphy as he hit probably three or four 3-pointers in the second half alone as Nova Village - Twinam came back from a second half deficit to steal a win on Friday night. Making shots off the catch was key as Murphy was one of the few players on either side who was consistently making shots from the outside. I also thought Murphy played with a sense of urgency on the court, when his team was trailing he was in attack mode and making things happen to fuel the comeback.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2437299"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"High school teammate of Murphy at Granville, Strasser is another prospect featured in this article playing up age groups this weekend. I was impressed with the size and physicality of Strasser, who doesn't look out of place on a 17 U court. Able to show some ball handling and drive and kick ability in the half-court, Strasser is a unique match-up problem due to his size and ability to stretch defenders out to the perimeter. While he played well on Friday night, I definitely walked away intrigued by Strasser's long term upside as a prospect playing up. Look for Strasser and Murphy to be key pieces for a Blue Aces squad hoping to claim the LCL title this winter.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1943270"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite'] got a gritty victory on Friday night with a one-point win. In the second half it was takeover time for McAlister and he put the game into his own hands. Tough to stop when he attacks with his left hand, McAlister was posting up weaker defenders and backing them into the paint with his strength. With a couple and-1 finishes due to his strength, McAlister is a tough cover due to his determination to get to the rim. Walked away impressed with the toughness [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite'] showed down the stretch to get a hard-fought victory to start their weekend.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663f763b67531"} /-->
