He made it rain from deep with one of the purest looking jumpers in the Class of 2026. His shots almost always look they’re going in, and if they don’t he often gets the soft shooter’s touch. He continues to find ways to get it going in the mid-range and near the rim, with a sneaky good runner that has the same touch as his proficient three point shooting.
Long term an area to keep an eye is his foot speed, especially on the defensive end. As Goodwin looks to the continue the climb ladder of high level basketball, his ability to be as fluid mover as possible will be crucial on both ends of the court.

A promising sophomore, who could’ve been included in yesterday’s spotlight on Tulsa’s Class of 2027. The baby faced youngster had a normal progression into a bigger role as the season went along for the Class 5A Area Chieftains. He’s still developing physically and a floor game, but he did hit a nice floater to go along with his rep as a long range specialist. A bigger role awaits Poindexter this fall if his game continues to develop.
