Scholl Drops 34 Points in Opener:
Tucker Scholl Tucker Scholl 6'0" | SG Greenville | 2027 State SC helped his local based Hoopzters team by scoring 34 points in the opening round game tonight. Scholl recorded 20 points at the halftime break. Tucker is a deep range and very effective shooter from downtown. He’s quite deceptive attacking the baseline with a with a quick first step. He really does a nice job of using a left-handed pass to his teammates while on the attack. Tucker featured a double-team at times tonight on several occasions.
Hill and Redmon Stand Tall:
RJ Hill RJ Hill 6'5" | PF South Pointe | 2025 SC and Brycen Redmon Brycen Redmon 6'0" | PG Westminster Catawba | 2025 State SC were a solid 1-2 combo tonight for Next Level SC NXT 2025 in an opening round win. Hill was all over the glass tonight with constant putbacks on the glass. He plays so much bigger than his listed size down in the paint. RJ provided HUSTLE plays all night long and did all of his work from 2-4 feet inside the paint. Hill finished with 19 points according to my unofficial stats this evening.
Redmon was able to stick a few mid-range pull-up jumpers here today. Brycen was able to a drop a few floaters on his way from separating himself from defenders. Redmon finished with 16 points in the lopsided win tonight.
Kings Defeat Team Richmond:
The FBC Future Kings got a solid win over Team Richmond here tonight. The FBC Future Kings received strong play from Mikey Williams Jr Mikey Williams Jr 5'11" | PG Greer | 2026 State SC , Dyllan Harris Dyllan Harris 6'0" | SG Spartanburg | 2026 State SC and forward Isaiah Atkins Isaiah Atkins 6'9" | PF Boiling Springs | 2026 State SC in the win. Williams Jr just brings so much confidence to the court with his play. Mikey was able to change gears on the way to the bucket by racing defenders at times. He plays his best basketball in attack mode and surely likes to bring pressure on the defensive end of the floor with his quick hands. Mikey finished with 25 points in the win.
Harris was solid all night long finishing with 17 points in the win. Dyllan connected on some short mid-range pull-up jumpers tonight. He was selective on his shooting here this evening and really played well within the team concept.
Atkins continues to develop with his game from the perimeter. Isaiah moves well around the perimeter with his good length and quick feet. At times tonight he was a bit passive with his perimeter jumper his evening. He finished with 7 points in the game tonight vs Team Richmond.
