About Dyllan
Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Dyllan stood out in a crowded Viking backcourt with many mouths to feed on the offensive end of the floor. However, what allowed Dyllan to be successful was his ability to knock down jump shots and be a factor in transition. He started the game with some unselfish passes and athletic rebounds, then began hitting more shots as the game went on. When he gets his feet set, Harris has a pure shot from the perimeter and the mid-range. He finished with 9 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks in game one.

was still in Football Season when I watched the Vikings earlier this season, so it was good to see him on the court and his team at full strength this weekend. Harris is a high-level shot maker, particularly in the mid-range. He is comfortable pulling up when driving left or right and even has a nice hesitation move that he can use to get all the way to the rim. Dyllan also has a soft touch on floaters and strong-hand shots in the paint. He was crucial on the glass in the fourth quarter, stepping up with key defensive rebounds to help close possessions and the win, finishing with 10 Points and 6 Rebounds.

Dyllan is one of the Top Shooting Guards in the 2026 Class and has highlight tape to back it up. He is a confident scorer who is efficient from all three levels of the floor and adds a handle and some athleticism too. Harris is aggressive with the ball in his hands and knows how to find space in the lane to finish around rim protectors, get to his spots in the mid-range, or connect from behind the arc. Another skill that stood out was his ability as a pick-and-roll ball-handler with a tendency to reject the screen and take the ball right to the cup. His scoring was important for his Grassroots Team, Future Kings, and projects as a key piece for Spartanburg High School this winter.

Dyllan was able to showcase a nice mid-range pull-up game here today. Harris will score the ball off the dribble. He feels comfortable playing both guard spots at times in the backcourt. Dyllan was able to leak out in transition a few times today for some cheapies heading the other way. Harris is a good team guy who really never worries about stats, but he does want to WIN games.
