His great positional size, defensive competitiveness, and confident outside shooting were on full display. Scott showcased versatility by knocking down six threes against Hopewell, displaying ease in getting to the rim, and excelling in transition. His notable contribution of 29 points and 12 rebounds played a crucial role in securing the win.

Prep Hoops SC’s #1 Overall Player Cameron Scott Cameron Scott Cameron Scott 6'6" | SG Lexington | 2024 State #23 Nation SC tops the Class 5A Super 7. Cam had a busy yet productive Summer, capped off by his Commitment to the University of Texas on August 12th. Scott is a huge pickup for Coach Rodney Terry and it will be exciting to see his fit in Austin next year. But he still has unfinished business at the High School Level. Cam and the Lexington Wildcats are one of the favorites in Class 5A, and should be in store for a big 2023-24 Season.

Scott had the busiest Summer of anyone in the State of South Carolina. Whether it was his standout performances at the Pangos All-American Camp (Co-MVP) and Jayson Tatum Elite Camp, his EYBL Season with Team United, his June Live Period Dominance with Lexington High School, or even his recent adventures with Rod Wave Elite, Cam rarely had a weekend off. And despite being Prep Hoops’ #1 Player in the State, he is still improving his game. Scott will make his College Decision on August 11th between a Top 6 of Auburn, Alabama, Oregon, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Texas.
