Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
The Wildcats aren’t just gifted with one true big man with elite size, they have two. Waites is the more raw and unpolished of the two bigs, but he’s improved enough over the last 6 months to be a playable backup for Mills. He will be effective as a paint protector in a 2-3 zone and as a screener in the pick-and-roll. A prospect worth a shot as a project big at the next level.
