May 3rd-5th I attended the annual Bash in the Desert at the Phhacility and Valley Vista HS locations. It had nearly 60 teams total and I watched 80% of all the teams to form a good opinion of the field.

I watched 10+ of the 15U teams on Sunday the 5th and

Here are my 15U Standout PG's that I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='2280207' first='Jackson' last='Moore'] Cienega ([program_tooltip program_id='2407834' first='AZ' last='Phenoms'] 15U)

A defensive minded scoring point guard was a menace on the defensive end ripping pockets of his opponents. He can score with step back threes, euro down the lane and his natural toughness and competitive shine each game. He was named MVP of the 15U division and you see why.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407206' first='Cameron' last='Hurt'] Pinnacle ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] Prelude 15 Rohde)

A long and young PG. He is good in transition and sees the court well. He uses his long arms to play the passing lanes to collect steals. He scores with threes, euro steps into a floater and will lock up players in a phone booth as a top of the line on-ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2332290' first='Amir' last='Kendrick'] Cesar Chavez ([program_tooltip program_id='2407834' first='AZ' last='Phenoms'] 15)

A physical point guard loves getting downhill using his strong frame. He is great on the glass for position and will pull-up off the dribble. He made some impressive pocket passes and can hit the catch or pull three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2257790' first='Nicholas' last='Topolosek'] Liberty ([program_tooltip program_id='2415446' first='Arizona' last='Grind'] NB 15 National)

A talented scoring point guard is a bucket. He scores with mid-range pull-ups getting to his spots and makes off balanced shots in the lane. He shows a big IQ and toughness taking charges. He can hit the three and truly has one of the better mid-range jumpers in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396184' first='Justin' last='Humphrey'] Eastmark ([program_tooltip program_id='2415446' first='Arizona' last='Grind'] NB 15 National)

A bigger scoring lead guard is a phenomenal all-around defender. He will rebound, blocks shots and keep his opponent in front of him. He has a nice floater game is in his bag and will shoot the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432568' first='Cyler' last='Jessup'] Valley Christian ([program_tooltip program_id='2415446' first='Arizona' last='Grind'] NB 15 National)

A pure point guard who can catch and shoot from the three point line just as good as anyone. He has a high feel for the game and sees the court well with pocket passes and moves the ball smartly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432565' first='Amaurie' last='Beausejor'] Desert Mountain ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] Jerrica 2027) (Pictured)

A quick scoring PG who has a tight handle with a burst. The lefty has a quick first step to get downhill. He has the floater game and he hesitates to freeze the defense and will blow by to score. He can also hit the three off the dribble and his mid-range pull-up is coming around too. He is a rare ambidextrous player making deeper shots with his left and floaters, layups with his right. He will drive and kick to a shooter often and can thread the needle impressively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146244' first='Cristian' last='Uribe'] Perry ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] Jerrica 2027)

A scoring point guard is a good passer to dump it off to his teammates. He is a natural scorer with mid-range pull-ups off the dribble and rattle them in from the three. He will ball fake and drive by in the paint in traffic, fall away in the post and burst by with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='2430652' first='Kendyn' last='Grant'] Dream City Christian ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] Prelude 15 Rohde)

A ball hawk two-way point guard. He will collect the steal and lay it in on the other end. He is a defensive menace with his quick hands and feet combined with his plus speed. He can drive and kick it to a shooter and scores on layups off of a burst.

Brycen Bowen Clovis/NM (New Mexico D1 2027)

A point guard who can score and make plays. He has a pretty three point stroke off the catch and has the floater game and seems to do a little bit of everything. He is quick on the ball defensively and is a dimer with advanced court vision. He has deep three point range off the catch and gets hot quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2291976' first='Collin' last='Kvamme'] Campo Verde ([program_tooltip program_id='2422356' first='3D' last='Hoops'] 15)

A scoring lead guard has deep three point range. He will rattle off triples one by one. He takes contact well and shows a lot of toughness. He has a polished floater game and just naturally puts the ball in the basket. He averaged 23 point per game and he showed what he can do in every game. He could be one of the focal points on varsity this season along with Curtis.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146267' first='Micah' last='Andrews'] Deer Valley ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] Prelude 15 Rohde)

A scoring pure point guard is a dimer who will needle thread it to a teammate. He scores with threes, quick moves to the paint, he has a floater game and he is highly effective to create space using his super tight handle.
