However, our staff has also been able to make the trip up to the Pacers Athletic Center to catch a few Indiana teams playing in the Adidas May Classic. Let’s quickly take a look at some of the prospects from the Hoosier state that stood out on Saturday.
Bennett turned some heads, including of some college coaches in attendance, with his play on Saturday morning. The 6’5″ forward from Park Tudor High School showcased his athleticism getting up for a couple of seemingly effortless dunks and appeared very versatile on the offensive end of the floor. Under-the-radar prospect to keep an eye on for IE F.E.E.D. 2025.
This list would simply be incomplete if we didn’t talk about what this guard for Team First City 2027 did on Saturday. Burks went for 32 points in his first contest and backed it up with 27 points in his second game of the day finishing an incredible 12-16 from three-point range. He can flat out shoot the basketball and is proving to be an underrated playmaker in the freshman class.
Highlights
One of the best pure shooters in Indiana’s Class of 2027, Craig had it cooking for Indiana Elite Team Indiana on Saturday night. The Warren Central High School guard is a consistent catch-and-shoot threat, can make them behind ballscreens/handoffs off of the dribble, and is athletic enough to slice his way through the defense and score at the basket. Top 15 prospect in the initial Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Rankings.
Highlights
People talk about playing above the rim, but Cunningham lives it. He truly does everything above the rim. The 6’6″ forward has incredibly long arms and is explosive athletically whether it be getting up to dunk it, rebound it, or defend. His activity level was really impressive on Saturday evening as well with Kyle Guy Elite 2025 as he seemed to always be involved in the action on the interior. Will play his senior season at Crispus Attucks High School.
Progeny Blue 2025 ran into a bit of a buzzsaw against a very good Kyle Guy Elite team, but English more than held his own in this matchup. The athletic, 6’4″ wing scored it in a variety of ways including from beyond the arc, elevating at the end of his drives, and consistently getting to the foul line. His length led to him getting his hands on some balls in the gaps defensively as well. High-upside prospect worth monitoring.
A versatile, 6’6″ forward for Kyle Guy Elite 2026, Fuller-Tucker knocked in a couple of three-point shots and finished consistently around the basket in two big wins on Saturday night. The Providence High School product is a tough matchup for opposing defenses with his blossoming ability to stretch the floor to go along with his interior strength. Really like the upside to his game.
Lott is a long, athletic, left-handed wing from Avon High School that stood out as a two-way threat on Saturday night for Ty Harris Elite. He was very active playing the top spot in a 1-3-1 zone defense using his length to deflected passes and bother the ball handler. Then, offensively, he used his size and strength at 6’4″ to finish around the basket. He is really tough to stop when he gets downhill in the paint.
The live period coming up next weekend will be a big one for this 6’8″ forward from Jeffersonville High School. Singleton already holds a handful of Division I offers, but he will also be watched closely over the next couple of months with potentially more coming his way. He displayed a soft touch on his turnaround jump shot in the post and is always one of the better rebounders on the floor. Look for Singleton to have a big rest of the spring and summer for Indiana Elite Team Tradition 2025.
Tonagel was one of the most productive freshmen in the state of Indiana this past season averaging a team-leading 15.1 points and 5.7 assists per game for the Oak Hill Golden Eagles. However, admittedly, we hadn’t seen him play live until Saturday night. Everything we had seen on film and heard about this prospect was 100% true. He has an extremely good handle, is a great finisher with both hands at the end of his drives, and can really shoot it as well. As tough as the come for a Class of 2027 prospect playing with Indiana Elite Team Tradition 2027.
