The Adidas 3SSB Circuit made it’s second stop of the Regular Season in Hoover, Alabama this weekend. The Great Lakes were well-represented with several teams throughout the region. I got the chance to watch a couple of those programs live including JSizzles and D1 Minnesota from Minnesota, and Phenom United from Ohio. Check out the six prospects that stood out from the event:
Jayden Moore Jayden Moore 6’0″ | PG Hopkins | 2026 State MN had a strong weekend playing with JSizzles 17U. If you were to just watch one of their games, you wouldn’t be able to tell that Moore is a 2026 playing up. The game was played at his pace and he did not look out of place once in their impressive win over Beauchamp Elite. Moore went for 9 Points, 10 Assists, 2 Steals, and just 1 Turnover in the game. He has a very quick first step to beat defenders of the dribble and unreal vision, throwing some passes that no one saw coming. Jayden is also a capable scorer, creating a couple of buckets for himself in the mid-range late in the game. Overall, it was one of the more impressive Point Guard performances I saw this weekend in Alabama.
Highlights
Curtis was a product of some of the terrific passing from Moore. He was productive as a screener, from the dunker spot, and on the offensive glass. He had an extremely efficient game in the matchup with Beauchamp Elite, putting up 19 Points and 9 Rebounds on 8-10 shooting in just 18 minutes of action. He has a strong, punishing frame and is a great finisher at the basket. He also works very hard on both ends of the floor and fights hard to control the glass, all desirable attributes for a big at the next level.
Highlights
Anthony had an impressive scoring afternoon from inside and out in the win over Beauchamp Elite. He went for 17 Points connecting on 3 of his 4 attempts from behind the arc. He reads defensive coverages well on his dribble drives and recognizes when to score and when to drop off a pass. Smith also has the ability to change pace with the ball in his hands, a very impressive attribute at the 17U Level. He used this to create several buckets off the dribble and he did so with efficiency. On the defensive end, Anthony has quick and strong hands, racking up 5 steals as well.
Udean was one of the most impressive shooters from the 15U Division at Adidas 3SSB this weekend. He connected on four threes in a matchup with Team Loaded VA on Saturday with multiple being from deep range or under a heavy contest. He has an extremely quick release and has the length to shoot over defenders, making him a very tough player to mute. Jaeden also moved off the ball well and had a couple of nice plays when he was run off the three-point line.
Rayshawn stood out for Phenom United’s 16U Group as a wing with a solid all-around game. He is a pest on the glass that crashes on both ends of the floor and hauled in several offensive rebounds which he turned into second-chance points. He is a very good finisher around the paint; with both hands, through contact, and around bigger defenders. Hamilton is also a good passer who has a good feel for defenses with the rock in his hands. He went for 11 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 4 Assists in a matchup with Upward Stars, but had his game ended due to an injury in the second half.
Darryn Peterson is one of those can’t-miss prospects when you go to a 3SSB Session. While his team wasn’t as successful as he would’ve liked in Session 2, they are always in position to win when he is in the game. Darryn’s positional size and strength stand out at 6’6″ with a stocky frame. He is a great ball handler who can have the offense run through him from a variety of positions on the floor. Peterson is also a good defender, rebounder, and confident scorer from all three levels. He went for 25 Points twice this weekend, once against Midwest Basketball Club on Friday where he also hauled in 11 Rebounds, and then again on Sunday against Team Loaded NC.
