Another strong game Sunday vs Red Storm. Scoring fast in transition while also knocking down shots from all over the floor. But he was a much better passer today. Allowed other guys to get plenty of scoring chances, too. Ended with 29 pts. Really making a case for 16U all-tournament. Reminder that’s he’s playing up a year.
Solid day down low in the 15U title game. Utilized good footwork on the low block which freed himself up for several inside scores. Rebounded well on both ends.
Top-80 prospect in Kentucky started the day with 13 pts vs LA Broncos. Giving 606 a 3-0 record on the weekend. Defense came alive in the championship vs Crusaders. Stopped a fast break in the opening stages while forcing numerous loose balls. Scored 16 points in the championship. Including a contested 3-pointer late in the first. Adds a smooth stroke to finish it off.
Highlights
Showed plenty of confidence from long range in both matchups Sunday. After finishing with 14 pts in the morning, he made his presence felt on both ends of the floor vs WI Crusaders. Forced a few turnovers while leading the break in transition. Also hit a pair of corner 3’s in the first half. Followed it up with a transition layup after another forced turnover. Hit back-to-back triples in the 2nd half and followed it up with a euro-step finish right after. Scored 22 pts.
Highlights
Had a big afternoon performance in the 15u title game. Found the bottom of the net from all three levels. Does a terrific job spacing the floor. Finding open cutting lanes inside while drilling a pair of 3’s. Also added a put-back miss to begin the 2nd half with a flashy layup in transition shortly after. Step-back off the crossover followed to make it a 17-pt game. Ended with 21 points in a dominant all-around effort
