A second straight weekend where Rondon makes a Prep Hoops Circuit all tournament team. His ability to lead his team as the point guard with leadership and shot-making as made KY Rise a tough team to beat. Going unbeaten this weekend in Cincinnati, Rondon was impressive in both games we caught of his team.
One of two teams in the event to go unbeaten, KY Rise earned two members on the all-tournament team. Griffin had an excellent showing in the final game of the weekend, knocking down four 3-pointers in the first half alone. Also showing the ability to attack a closeout, Griffin works well off Rondon and the more physical forwards on the KY Rise team.

On Sunday, Pace had a great final stretch to his weekend with seven straight points to secure a tough win over Grassroots Elite. Pace knocked down a corner 3-pointer and had two layups with smart off ball movement in the final three minutes of the game to secure the win. With a big time performance in a clutch spot, Pace makes our all tournament team after helping his team go 3-1 at the event.

One of the more physically imposing bigs on the Prep Hoops Circuit, McCruter is tough to stop at the rim as a finisher and keep off the glass for second chance points. With multiple double-digit scoring games this weekend plus some strong dunks, McCruter is one of the top players to watch on the Prep Hoops Circuit in the Grit Region. His Ohio Saints team ended the weekend 2-2 but both their wins were by double-digits and both their losses were by single-digits.
An impressive athlete who attacked the rim in transition and the half-court, Slaughter was tough to stop with a head of steam. Able to finish in traffic, shot contests didn’t stop Slaughter from getting his points. Helping his team go 4-0 this weekend, we had to find somebody from his Crossover Hoops squad to make our All Tournament team for 17 U and Slaughter was the prospect we choose.
