A 6-foot-5 wing who can play inside and out. Has good length and bounce that helped him average 18.3 points and 12.9 rebounds. Those numbers would suggest he already “broke out,” but watching him play it’s clear there is still another level to his game to reach. He works well out of the midrange, facing up or backing down, and clearly works the glass hard. Just to show his potential, he had a 24-point 24-rebound game last season against Sehome. I’d like to see him become a little more efficient from the field and stretch that range out to 3 more regularly. Keep an eye on him as a guy who could really elevate his game heading into next season.
A rangy, athletic guard who can get it done on both ends of the floor, Hyppa has all the tools to take the next step and break out next season. He can get downhill in a hurry, gets hot from 3 and has shown extended range at times, and also brings it defensively. Hyppa was a second-team all-league selection this past season and could very well crack that first-team next season.

Connor was a big crunch time performer last season and should get more opportunities to showcase his game now that Mountlake Terrace graduates its starting backcourt. He’s a poised guard with good balance who catches ready to shoot or attack and does both pretty well. He gives good energy on both sides of the ball and could really make a big statement next year presumably as a starting guard.
Vargas played really well off the ball this past year, getting into spots for catch and shoot 3s, finding space to make plays by the rim, and showing good hand-eye with tips and steals. Mt Spokane graduate’s top scorer and point man, Ryan Lafferty Ryan Lafferty 6’5″ | CG Mt Spokane | 2024 State #320 Nation WA , so it only makes sense Vargas could be a candidate to pick up the slack. When the ball is in his hands he shows an overall good feel for the game. He can drive gaps, make on target passes on the go and at a standstill, and seems to recognize space really well.

An uber-athletic guard at West Seattle, Pierce announced his impact-potential this season as a reliable 3-point shooter and electric rim finisher. He’s a guy who can put up points in a hurry and plays at a high pace. He’s a guy I like to make even more improvements over the spring and summer to form a dynamic backcourt for the Wildcats next year with Sully Janiwade Sully Janiwade 6’5″ | PG West Seattle | 2026 State WA .
