London Showcase Northwest 18U recap

A group of players from the Northwestt challenged themselves versus some of the top Great Britain National players and local British players for the London SHOWCASE. They spent one week in London exploring around the country but also playing some highly competitive hoops.     The 17U team played versus 18U teams and ended up going 1-2. He has improved immensely since last year and is more confident. He will score with threes, runs the floor in transition. give a hard ball fake and lay it in, he can go coast to coast off the glass plus has a nice mid-range fall away. He is aggressive on defense to rebound and collect steals.     #8 [player_tooltip player_id='2789396' first='Aiden' last='Kindrick'] Eagle/ID   A big bodied athletic defensive wing. He can be a potential long term 3 and D type down the road. He will defend multiple positions and plays very hard with a motor on defense. He will score with threes off the catch, mid-range pull-ups and tough drives in the paint using his bounce and football like frame with spin moves and euro steps using his handle.     #23 Rayden Goodwin PG 6'0 2028 (Oaks Christian/CA)   A scoring lead guard who is smart and crafty. He will score it many ways with threes off the catch and he is a better finisher then you would assume. He has one of the better layup packages of an under the rim player you will see with either hand. He smartly moves without the ball and he has a deceptively quick first step and crossover to get to the basket and finish. He will pressure the ball on defense with very quick feet and hands.         #3 [player_tooltip player_id='1770582' first='Matt' last='Cummins'] Layton Christian/UT   An extremely skilled lead guard is wired to score. He will still facilitate with drive and kicks and has the quickness to get into the paint and keep his handle alive and score it. He will hesitate and get downhill and keeps his pivot alive and will step thru and score. He also has deep three point range and confidence. He was injured all week and still played thru most of the games.   #24 [player_tooltip player_id='2457277' first='Kaden' last='Veldman'] Lynden Christian   A strong undersized forward plays and defends a few positions. He has an incredible nose for the ball and high end motor to rebound at a good clip. He fights on every possession to gain any king of advantage. He will score it effectively and efficiently around the hoop with offensive rebound put backs and crafty layups.    #12 [player_tooltip player_id='3710987' first='Luke' last='Howie'] Lakeside   A high motored power forward with a good frame and real length. He will crash the glass and score it with offensive rebound put backs, run the floor and make simple plays needed to affect a game with picks and boxing his man out. He will also block shots in his area.
