He was usually one of the smallest players on the court, but out-hustled and out-muscled opponents for a handful of offensive rebounds that led to second chance opportunities. He is not afraid to finish through contact, either converted through multiple defenders at a time or drawing fouls to get to the stripe. He is a very trustworthy ball handler and maintained composure when faced with pressure. He is a hard worker, flying around the floor to come away with steals, tipped passes, and loose balls. He is a well rounded scorer as well, as he can shoot it from deep and is tough to stop when getting to his floater which he used often. He has a lightning quick first step and only needed one or two moves to get downhill when working against a defender. He was also tough to stop when getting out in transition, being able to use his speed and body control to cap off a full speed finish at the rim, sometimes through traffic.
