Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
The Rosemount guard was competing on both ends against a talented Team 1848 group on Saturday night. Defensively he was getting after it, constantly putting pressure on opposing point guards, and getting on the floor for every loose ball. Forced a number of turnovers that allowed his team to get out in transition for easy buckets. Hollie plays with an endless supply of energy, and never seems to take a possession off. Offensively he used his strong frame to barrel his way to the rim, and finish strong through contact. Could go right into a defender’s chest and keep his chin at the rim to finish with consistency.

I really admired the effort that Ja’Khi brings when he is on the floor, as he is always giving 100%. He was usually one of the smallest players on the court, but out-hustled and out-muscled opponents for a handful of offensive rebounds that led to second chance opportunities. He is not afraid to finish through contact, either converted through multiple defenders at a time or drawing fouls to get to the stripe. Holle is also a versatile defender, being able to match up with bigger opponents.
