The teams in the spacious Champion Center all set out to attain bragging rights for the year. Each game had highlight worthy plays, and players looking to prove their team was worthy of a Championship Title. Although there can only be one champion, there was no shortage of intensity throughout the entire weekend in each division. Below, I highlighted the “Day 2 Standouts” that I was able to watch at the “Madness in the Midwest”.
Ethan Joling Ethan Joling 6'6" | PG Hortonville | 2026 State WI | All Wisconsin
Joling found his teammates on time and on target. His height allows him to see over the top of the defense on the perimeter as well as in the mid-post area. He made some impressive reads and simplified the game for All Wisconsin on day 2.
Anthony Ness Anthony Ness 5'10" | PG Menomonee Falls | 2026 WI | Team Phoenix
Ness served as a threat from range for Team Phoenix. He hunted shots from range and spaced the floor out a great deal. When ran off the line he was able to read the help defense and make impressive decisions.
Jaden Boyd Jaden Boyd WG WI | ABC Lions
Boyd was reliable on and off the ball at the guard position. His quick first step and ability to switch gears allowed him to play make in a major way. He was fearless attacking the rim and a willing passer on day 2.
Christopher Tao | All Wisconsin
Tao was a serviceable threat on the perimeter on both ends of the floor for All Wisconsin. He made quick and solid decisions upon catching the ball whether it being a high quality shot or drive. On the defensive end, he was able to stay in front of ball handlers on day 2.
Julian Reuter | ABC Young Lions
Reuters activity on the perimeter was apparent throughout day 2. His instincts in the passing lanes and 50/50 situations showed up hugely for ABC Young Lions . Most impressive was his shot selection and ability to knock down threes off the catch. Even when marked as a shooter, his movement off the ball and quick release was on display.
