West Mania brought together some of the top shoe circuit and independent programs from the Western U.S. for a three-day event, complete with Circuit crossover games in the showcase break off at Cerritos College. In this piece we take a look at the more of the top scorers we saw on the weekend.
Hudson Greer Hudson Greer 6'7" | SG Austin Lake Travis | 2025 State #50 Nation TX | 20025 | JL3
Greer really impressed me with the simplicity of his game. The 6-foot-6 forward is a highly fundamental prospect who has dribble, pass and shoot feel off the dribble and a good pop of athleticism when finishing in traffic at the rim. Greer catches to shoot in spot-up situations, reads defenses well and is a patient decision-maker on when to attack to score and when to attack to make a play for a teammate. Greer flashed a consistent three-point shot off the catch and transition finishing ability throughout the weekend.
Jaden Vance | 2025 | Vegas Elite
Vance is a long-term upside type of prospect who already has a great feel for scoring. The wiry 6-foot-6 wing is a fluid slasher and finisher with quick first and second jumps but can also pour in perimeter jumpers off the dribble. Vance covers ground quickly in transition and elevates and extends to the rim to nullify rim protectors.
Jason Crowe Jr Jason Crowe Jr 6'4" | PG Inglewood | 2026 State CA-S . | 2026 | Team Why Not
Crowe always has a lasting impact on the games he plays in because he makes tough shots look so easy. The 6-foot-4 lefty is one of the premier scorers in the country regardless of class and was filling it up from well-beyond the three-point line over the weekend. Crowe has supreme confidence in his scoring ability, plays at his own pace and gets to his spots and scores regardless of how many defenders try to stop him.
Kayden Edwards Kayden Edwards 6'3" | CG Duncanville | 2025 State #63 Nation TX | 2025 | YGC
Edwards stood out because of his smooth lefty jump shot from the three-point and mid-range areas of the floor. The 6-foot-2 combo guard is a shifty ball-handler who can get defenders off-balance in isolation and get to his pull-up jumper going right but he also has feel out of ball screen action where he can step behind and knock down the three if the defender goes under or get a paint touch and score on a crafty layup or floater.
Tounde Yessoufou Tounde Yessoufou 6'6" | SF St. Joseph (Santa Maria) | 2025 State #20 Nation CA-S | 2025 | Team Why Not
Those who have watched or played against Yessoufou know that his game is predicated on physicality and athleticism – which few other prospects at this level can match – but he knocked down the three-ball with consistency over the weekend as well. Yessoufou is a dominant interior player who has the ball skills to pop out to the perimeter and create his own shot off the bounce.
