Heights was carried by 2024 trio [player_tooltip player_id='1284207' first='Randy' last='McClendon Jr'], Zy'lerre Stewart and [player_tooltip player_id='1284156' first='Jency' last='Davis'] all scoring 20 or more points. McClendon, a six-foot-two-inch guard is a smooth moving, combo guard who is a relentless prober who doesn't pick-up his dribble. Stewart, an electric athlete who can make a soul crushing play in an instant. [player_tooltip player_id='2406764' first='Thomas' last='Myers'], a 2025 sharp shooting guard from Hill-Murray scored 27 points.</p>

<p>In 4A Section 2 #3 Waconia took down [player_tooltip player_id='1287439' first='Max' last='Woods'] missing Chanhassen 82-71. Waconia got 19 from William Kirsch, 17 from [player_tooltip player_id='1969343' first='Gavin' last='Olson'], 17 from [player_tooltip player_id='1434056' first='Jackson' last='Hayes'] and 13 from Tate McDonald. Kirsch, a 2026 guard is a big time outside shooter that made 4 3-pointers. Hayes, a 2024 Senior, was solid inside and out. His fantastic footwork on display in the first half on a couple paint scores. [player_tooltip player_id='1969343' first='Gavin' last='Olson'], a 2024 lefty guard, can shoot it from the perimeter and isn't afraid to attack the basket in transition. </p>

<p>Jack Seubert had 19 for Chanhassen, and so did [player_tooltip player_id='1288795' first='Evan' last='Murray'], and 14 from [player_tooltip player_id='1617724' first='John' last='Schmidt']. Murray, a 2024 guard is a good outside shooter. Seubert, a 2024 Senior guard, does well to spread the floor and cuts well when teammates drive the seam to give them opportunities for lay-ups.</p>

<p>In 4A Section 5 Maple Grove took care of Roseville 96-73 behind a huge game from 2024 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1293966' first='Henry' last='Stang'] which broke Brad Davison's old school record. Stang is a six-foot lefty who is very efficient and effective as an outside scorer. [player_tooltip player_id='1617766' first='Keegan' last='Harney'], a six-foot-two-inch 2025 guard, scored 22 for the Crimson.Given time and opportunity, Harney can fill it out from the outside with his mechanically sound jumpshot.</p>

<p>For Roseville, [player_tooltip player_id='1617787' first='Noah' last='George'] had 27 points and Ataa-Adjety Mensah had 20 points. George, a six-foot-two-inch 2025 junior guard, who can knock down outside shots, is good at helping to spread the floor, and is good off screens. Mensah is a 2024 guard from Roseville who is a fast and long perimeter defender.</p>

<p>In 3A Section 6 #2 Delano smacked Holy Angels 91-54 behind two guard machine of 2024 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1284231' first='Will' last='Strandemo'] who had 31 points, and 29 points for 2026 sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen']. Both quick, shoot early when open guards can really put pressure on a defense if they get out early. [player_tooltip player_id='2104462' first='Damian' last='Devine'], a six-foot-three-inch 2025 wing had 17 points to lead Holy Angels.</p>

<p>In 4A Section 4 #2 seed East Ridge, who've won 16 straight games after beating White Bear Lake 77-52 behind 25 points from 2026 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1950404' first='Bennett' last='Skinner'] and 19 points from fellow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes']. Tomes is one the highest pursued prospect in the 2026 class in lighting fast off the dribble, has excellent passing vision and lead guard court presence, and really showed why he is a desired prospect. Skinner is a confident scorer and good outside shooter.</p>

<p>For White Bear Lake six-foot-four-inch forward [player_tooltip player_id='2048140' first='TJ' last='Cusciotta'] scored 24 points to cap off his 2024 Senior season averaging 16.6 points per game. Cusciotta has a solid outside shot, can make them in bunches at times, and can make plays for himself from the wing off the ball.</p>

<p>In 4A Section 7 Anoka battled Blaine where the Tornados won 89-76. Anoka, the 3 seed, was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1574226' first='Peyton' last='Podany'], a six-foot-four-inch 2025 junior guard, who had 30 points. Podany can make shots from the outside, where he had ability off the dribble and spotted-up. Strong guard on the perimeter, can make others defer with his length. Trey Borches followed with 13 points and AJ Howze had 12 points. Borches, a six-foot-two-inch 2025 guard, is a very strong outside shooter. Borchers can be a secondary ball handler.</p>

<p>Blaine was led by [player_tooltip player_id='2174606' first='Jordan' last='Lyon'] who had 24 points and 4 assists. The 2024 six-foot-two-inch shooting guard shot it well from the outside in various ways, and showed he was able to get to the basket for scores as well. Blaine led most of the year by 2024 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1288812' first='Alvin' last='Payne'] had 16 points.</p>
