A prospect who is developing into his talents this season, Sims has taken a big step in terms of production and consistency this season. Always having the physical tools to be an impact defender, we’ve seen Sims more consistently make an impact on the defensive side of the court with blocked shots and steals. Obviously, the perimeter shooting and dunks are what jump off the page when watching Sims, but the improvements he’s made in other areas of the game have us excited about his long-term potential at the college level. We’ll be following his summer with Wildcat Select, where he should get the majority of his college looks from.

A prospect who is on a senior laden team that has a battle with Pickerington North tonight with a spot in the district title on the line. I’ve learned a lot about Henderson’s game playing next to some talented seniors who play with the ball in their hands a lot. I’ve been impressed with the explosiveness Henderson shows athletically, he is one of the top vertical athletes in central Ohio. Making strides as a jump shooter, the ball looks good coming out of Henderson’s hands. I’ll be curious to see where Henderson has grown as a ball handler and decision maker this summer. He’s playing with All Ohio Select and Westerville Central, two teams that will need him to create offense for himself and others. If he shows that he can distribute at a high level off the bounce, he will continue to rise up our rankings due to his natural athletic talent.
Few players flat out play as hard as McFadden does on a nightly basis. He’ll be helping lead Pickerington North against Westerville Central tonight in a game I’m very curious to see who wins. McFadden’s motor never stops and his ability to get second chance points at his height is impressive. I thought McFadden also took strides as a ball handler, showing more skill in his game instead of just being an undersized energy guy. I’ll be curious to see if McFadden can continue to grow his ball handling and passing ability playing next to Arness Lawson Arness Lawson 6’1″ | PG Pickerington North | 2025 State #306 Nation OH and Jr Bates in the Panther back-court. With those players all returning next season, I expect Pickerington North to be one of the top teams in central Ohio next season.

Another team playing tonight, St Clairsville has had a strong season behind a pair of 1,000-point scorers. The Red Devils take on Indian Valley with a spot in the east district championship on the line. Pastor has another season left to play as he should go down as one of the top scorers in school history if he stays healthy next season. A strong wing who is a standout on the gridiron as well, Pastor is a high academic student who should get a bunch of small college interest this summer with Nova Village on the UAA circuit. I like his first step, perimeter defense and ability to knock down open shots. While he’s a top scorer at the small-town high school level, I’m even more interested in his ability to impact the game in a variety of ways on the grassroots circuit.

A player who was ready to breakout as a Junior, McNulty averaging 18 points and 9 rebounds a game, earning first team all conference in the process showed off his talents. McNulty recently scored a career-high 32 points in a win over Port Clinton, showing his growth as a scorer. I love the strength and physicality that he plays with on both ends of the court. I’m excited to check McNulty out this summer to see some of the scoring confidence against better competition.
