Colin stood out with his versatility at his now-listed height of 6’9. The 2025 forward was capable of stretching the floor from deep, handled the ball comfortably in space, and was dominating on the glass. In the small sided games he was nearly unstoppable because of his ability to take opposing bigs off the dribble and finish at the rim. Like his versatility as a screen setter because of his ability to pop out beyond the arc or roll to the rim and finish over size.
Highlights
Myrick has a lot of room to continue growing his game, as he’s an extremely long 6’6 forward with some solid mobility at this stage. One thing that immediately stood out when watching him play was how vocal he was. Myrick was the loudest player in the game and he never seemed to stop communicating on the defensive end. Offensively he did the bulk of his scoring stretching the floor from three. Plenty of room to grow as he continues to fill out his frame.
The biggest player in the gym, once Deng caught around the basket the possession was just about over. With his strength and long arms at 6’11, Deng showed soft touch around the basket to score with a simple turn of the shoulder. With that type of size Deng knows who he is as a player, and I like how he was putting his frame to use in the paint and not settling for jumpers. He’s still a raw prospect, but showed the ability to impact the game as an inside finisher and shot blocker with his 6’11 frame.

Ray Brau Ray Brau 6’7″ | PF Hibbing | 2027 State MN was dominant among the 2027 group on Sunday. There were players that could match his height and maybe some that could match his strength, but there wasn’t anyone who seemed to be able to slow down his combination of the two. Ray was constantly fighting to establish low-post position, and when his teammates were able to deliver an entry pass Ray could go to work. Having already establish deep position, Ray simply had to turn over his left shoulder and finish with his right hand off the glass. Good touch to finish at a high percentage around the basket. On the defensive end he was making a big impact as a shot blocker, including a run where he blocked 3 shots in a one minute span. Does a nice job of walling up to avoid fouling as well.
The 2027 class is filled with size, and Carter will be another name to track over the coming years. He’s still a raw prospect, but the potential is there with his mobility at 6’8. Really intriguing with how he could handle the ball in the open floor and move at his size. Bulk of his production came as a rebounder, as he was attacking missed shots with two hands before locating an outlet pass.
Dylan was standing out from the very start of the day, going to work in the 1v1 portion. Facing off against a lot of smaller/quicker guards, Dylan was going to work with his ability to get deep position and utilize his footwork to create open looks. Sag off and he had no problem just knocking down the open jumper, but play him too tight and he could back his way down to the rim within the dribble limit, get you in the air with a shot fake, and then finish in the opposite direction. Super crafty player with a combination of skill and size at 6’5.
