Peru vs South Bend St. Joseph (Logansport)

Up to this point, SBSJ has just absolutely dominated each team that has came across their path in the state tournament. Peru, on the other hand, has done just a really good job of grinding out wins to keep on advancing and senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1158198' first='Matthew' last='Roettger'] is a big part of it as he is coming off another big performance of a 24 point, 15 rebound double-double. The matchup between Roetgger and SBSJ's senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297002' first='Chase' last='Konieczny'] is going to be an extremely good that I expect to just be a back-and-forth battle. This is yet another one of those games where it comes down to what guys step up around their stars that will likely decide the outcome of this big game. Should be a good one Saturday with both of these teams each having a shot to win. The Prediction: South Bend St. Joseph

Delta vs Fairfield (Logansport)

The Delta Eagles are right where everyone expected them to be at the point in the season and are still looking like the favorites to represent the north in Class 3A. This was not a cakewalk to get for the Eagles however, as they barley got passed a tough Fort Wayne Concordia team beating them just 39-37. The Falcons of Fairfield also has a close call getting to semi-state with their close win over Bishop Noll this past Saturday 41-39. Both of these teams do have good balance on their rosters along with their "main" guy with senior standouts [player_tooltip player_id='1275729' first='D'Amare' last='Hood'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1275812' first='Noah' last='Mast']. I think this one really comes down to depth and talent overall, which gives the edge to Delta. The Eagles got here last year before their magical run came to a crushing end. This year they have the target on their back, and Fairfield is looking to play spoiler. The Prediction: Delta

Guerin Catholic vs Danville (Seymour)

Moving down to the south here which features the team that represented the south in Class 3A last season in Guerin Catholic and a team that has made one of the best runs in the entire state, Danville. Starting with Guerin Catholic, the Golden Eagles defeated Indianapolis Washington 56-39 to make it here while Danville took care of Northview with ease beating them 61-39. On paper, this was probably the matchup most were expecting when looking at the Regional matchups due to how much damage both of these teams have done throughout the entire season. Danville features one of the most dominant bigs in all of class 3A in Indiana football signee [player_tooltip player_id='1275801' first='Evan' last='Lawrence'] and Guerin Catholic senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'] will have his hands full for this one. Guerin Catholic also features senior trio [player_tooltip player_id='1547883' first='Dylan' last='Murans'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275817' first='Robert' last='Sorensen'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1386181' first='Jack' last='Cherry'], which I think is the big difference maker in this one. If Danville comes out of this one, they have proved a ton of doubters wrong. The Prediction: Guerin Catholic

Evansville Bosse vs Scottsburg (Seymour)

This one is going to be a clash of styles but should be a fantastic one nonetheless. Evansville Bosse gets here with their Regional win over Southridge and Scottsburg defeated Batesville behind 30 points from senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1401893' first='Kody' last='Clancy'] to earn their semi-state ticket. There has not been a bigger impact transfer than Bosse senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1277565' first='Abdul' last='Mitchell'] who has turned the Bulldogs from an average team to legit state contenders. Him and [player_tooltip player_id='1158192' first='Taray' last='Howell'] have made a one of the best duos we have left in the state. Scottsburg will have to rely on their big three of Clancy, Zellers, and Miller to once again get them another win. This one is a legit toss-up and whatever team can figure out how to stop the other one's style, gets the win here. The Prediction: Evansville Bosse
