Continue ReadingKidd is a developing player that performed well when I caught him in some JV games. He plays with a grit and toughness. His knack for coming up with big plays, should allow him to emerge during the grassroots season.
Burrell can know be called a champion as he helped DPac make history during the high school season. The guard got his name on the radar last grassroots season, and could be set to do the same thing this year. His competitive spirit and tenacious defense make him a clear canidate ready to emerge.
Really like what I saw from Wilson during the Rankings Run. He had one of the more suprising signature skills, as he proved to be one of the better pure rebounders at the event. He has some game as well, look for the backcourt glass cleaner to emerge through strong play this summer.
Never underestimate the value of experience. That’s exactly what the wing got, while contributing to a Mater East squad, that got tantalizingly close to a title. His IQ and ability to score the ball should give him an opportunity to emerge during the Grassroots season.
I truly believe Madsen’s experience at the Rankings run is going to pay divdends next high school season. He showed that he has the quickness to defend, and enough athleticism to rebound. Look for his combination of positional size and shooting, allong with the aformentioned defense attributes to allow him to emerge this grassroots season.
Highlights
Gilbert had some of the slickest moves at the Rankings Run early this month. His ability to score in 1 v 1 situations, will undoubtedly give him an opportunity to emerge during the Spring.
