had a couple of decent outings in the Democracy Prep games that I caught. He was moving off ball and hunting shots on offense. His efforts to get open paid off and I saw him bury a few triples. Burrell was also getting after it on the defensive end and made his opponents work to gain ground.

Plays with good speed and quickness, Burrell was good this weekend, putting pressure on the defense, getting into the paint taking contact and finishing.

Burrell can know be called a champion as he helped DPac make history during the high school season. The guard got his name on the radar last grassroots season, and could be set to do the same thing this year. His competitive spirit and tenacious defense make him a clear canidate ready to emerge.

Haven’t seen Burrell in a couple months so it was good to watch him at the camp. He showed some decent offensive skill. The guard strung together consecutive makes outside the three point line, while being effective using the bounce to facilitate as well as create looks for himself.

Perhaps a future prospect, Burrell showed skills and played with a good burst. Burrell has a terrific first step and he used it to get by the initial defender and get paint touches. The floor general showed a lot of moxie with his ability to make tough shots against pressure defense.
