may be one of the top scorers for Losee this season. He gets to the rack and gets to the line. And he can hit shots from long range as well. Defensively, he isn’t the easiest guy to get a bucket on when he leverages his frame and strength.

is now a Somerset Losee Lion. He will bring some ball-handling and scoring to the table for them. I also believe that he should get a good amount of PT since Losee graduated quite a few seniors last year.

Gilbert had some of the slickest moves at the Rankings Run early this month. His ability to score in 1 v 1 situations, will undoubtedly give him an opportunity to emerge during the Spring.

If he goes back and looks at the film, Gilbert is going to see a nice highlight package. The thing that stood out the most was his handle. He made several quick COD’s proving to be one of the surprisingly more advanced 1 v 1 players in the class of 2026 games.

Gilbert has stuck with it, and improved 1% each time I’ve seen him. The hybrid guard helped himself with his play during the Desert Reign Summer League, showing that he can score the ball down low and when facing up and attacking the basket.

I’m impressed with Gilbert’s short term improvement and work ethic. He was diligent on the glass, scoing off putbacks and catch and finishes. What looked new was his faceup game, which included a few jab steps on the perimeter, allowing him to finish at the basket.

I’ve gotten a chance to watch Gilbert several times during the spring. He’s developing into a versatile scorer, for one of the deepest programs in the state. His ability to score with his back to the basket as well as stretching the floor makes him one of the more intriguing fresh faces.

Gilbert had a solid season for the Mojave JV program. He looks like he’s grown a little, and the added height helped him in rebounding opportunities. He has a nice touch from mid range and helped provide interior production for LV United.
