You can tell that Madsen’s been working on his game. The forward showed guard skills, especially with his handle. Madsen displayed multiple COD’s, while shooting it with confidence, while positioning himself for a stockrising season.

Recently saw Madsen during the Venom Rankings Run, he was impressive then, looking to see him under the pressure of tournament format play. He’s a willing defender, who’s tough enough to mix it up under the basket. Madsen and his LV Aces squad are looking for a deep run in the event.

I truly believe Madsen’s experience at the Rankings run is going to pay divdends next high school season. He showed that he has the quickness to defend, and enough athleticism to rebound. Look for his combination of positional size and shooting, allong with the aformentioned defense attributes to allow him to emerge this grassroots season.

I was pleasantly suprised by Madsen’s play. His frame is developing nicely, and he showed good quickness and explosion on his drives. With his combination of size, and offensive skill, the 2026 wing looks like a way to early 2A POY candidate.

It’s fun watching players develop from year to year. Madsen is a player that I got to watch a lot of as a middle school player, and seeing him improve in high school has been a lot of fun. He’s had a small growth spurt, which has allowed him to dominant inside at the 1A level, for new powerhouse Green Valley Christian.
